Hiruzen's Surprise

Only Yahiko, Konan, and Hogen remained at the dinner table. The three of them were very close, and many of Hogen's ninjutsu had been developed after discussions with Konan and Yahiko.

Konan and Yahiko were both Kage-level, far stronger than Hogen. It was only natural for them to give him some guidance.

But they both knew this was only temporary. By the time Hogen reached their age, he would likely have broken through to the Six Paths.

At the very least, he would be Peak Kage-level.

After all, how could Torikaze's son possibly be lacking?

"All right, Hokage Hiruzen. We can pack up and leave soon."

The moment he heard that, Hiruzen Sarutobi immediately perked up. "Good. I've already made preparations. We can leave at any time."

"We can go now," Torikaze said with a slight smile.

Hiruzen Sarutobi immediately stood up. "Then let's go. We shouldn't waste any time. The sooner we see him, the sooner we can return."

There were still many things in Konoha waiting for Hiruzen Sarutobi to explore, and many regrets he had yet to make whole.

"All right, then let's set off."

Torikaze grabbed Hiruzen Sarutobi by the shoulder, and the two instantly teleported into the main courtyard of the Sarutobi Clan.

This was where Hiruzen and his family lived.

The moment Torikaze appeared, Hiruzen inside the house sensed someone. "Who's there?"

"It's me. I've brought someone important to meet you."

Someone important? The moment Hiruzen heard that, he immediately came out.

But when he did, he was dumbfounded. Was that... himself?

But he remembered that he hadn't used Shadow Clones.

"Torikaze, what's going on?"

Torikaze and Hiruzen Sarutobi both smiled at that.

"Let us come in first, then we'll explain."

Hiruzen suddenly understood and immediately led the two inside.
