Next, everyone simply chatted together. Kushina and Minato Namikaze talked about their son.

The two still had some disagreements over his surname.

Kushina wanted the child to take Minato's surname. After all, that was Konoha's long-standing custom.

But Minato Namikaze insisted that the child take the Uzumaki surname and be called Naruto Uzumaki.

Torikaze saw that the two had been agonizing over it for far too long, yet they had failed to settle the matter after all that arguing.

So he simply spoke up and made the decision. "Naruto Uzumaki it is. Trust me, you can't go wrong with that."

The couple looked at Torikaze, then exchanged a glance and nodded. "All right, then he'll be called Naruto Uzumaki."

It was a rather hasty decision. Torikaze had not actually intended to interfere with their choice, but he had casually spoken up and ended up giving the child a good name.

"All right, Biwako. I'll come see you again later. We need to discuss some matters."

Biwako naturally knew some of what was going on, and she had long since grown used to this sort of thing.
