Torikaze came downstairs. "Are you all ready? Did you bring everything? If not, you can go back and get it. You have half an hour."
All five shook their heads. "No need. We're fully prepared."
"Then good, we're about to leave."
Torikaze gave a satisfied nod, then used clouds and mist to link the five of them together.
In an instant, they arrived at the Teleportation Forest.
"Get ready. We're entering the spatial tunnel. Don't worry, though—the process is completely safe. It has been personally tested many times, so just relax."
Before Minato Namikaze and the others could even react, the spatial passage had already opened.
"Let's go. We're heading in."
Looking at the pale blue doorway that had appeared out of thin air, they were all somewhat hesitant.
However, Minato Namikaze had already heard Hiruzen Sarutobi explain the process, so he gathered his courage and stepped directly inside.
He vanished from everyone's sight in an instant.
Seeing that Lord Hokage had already gone in, the three clan heads immediately followed.
Orochimaru glanced at Torikaze, then smiled and walked in as well.
Torikaze brought up the rear.
Once everyone had entered the passage, the journey began.
"Th-this is... where?"
Minato Namikaze was utterly stunned. The other four were no exception, all staring wide-eyed at the sight before them in disbelief.
Countless twinkling stars hung in the void.
"This is outer space. We're inside the transit passage. Don't worry, this trip is absolutely safe."
"So this is what lies beyond the Shinobi World? It's truly astonishing."
Orochimaru had believed that nothing could ever leave him feeling shocked again, but the sight before him made him feel incredibly small.
They drifted farther and farther from their own Shinobi World, which soon became a tiny dot that could no longer be seen clearly.
