If the three little ones were the future heirs to the Hokage position, then Torikaze felt Obito had a slightly better chance.
There was no evidence for it. It was just intuition.
"Alright, Obito, that's enough for today. Eat more when you get home. You'll be hungrier after the medicinal bath. Come here on time tomorrow to study with your Grandmother-Master."
With that, everyone was smiling happily, and Obito finally relaxed. A smile appeared on his face once more.
"Yes, Grandmaster!"
Just as Obito was about to leave, Torikaze stopped him. He took the goggles that had been blown away during Earth Drop out of his ring and placed them on Obito's head.
"Wear them tighter next time. Don't let them get blown away."
Obito touched the goggles on his head, and his smile widened again. "Yes, Grandmaster!"
Then he ran off from the Cloud Clan Grounds.
He wanted to go home and tell his father, mother, and grandmother that Grandmaster did not hate him.
Torikaze watched Obito's retreating back and shook his head with a smile. "That child is always so rash and restless."
Chisato stood beside Torikaze. "He's a boy. That's perfectly normal."
Torikaze turned to look at Chisato. "Nonsense. I wasn't like that when I was young."
Chisato curled her lips but said nothing.
Torikaze really had not been like Obito when he was young. Still, Torikaze had been rather similar to Kakashi.
Both were quite proud.
Though Torikaze had never acted especially flamboyant, his confidence in his own strength and that pride were impossible to conceal.
That was something unique to the young.
As Torikaze grew older and his mindset matured, that pride gradually faded away.
"What do you plan to have me teach Obito? Fire Release? The Sharingan? Or Taijutsu?"
Torikaze thought for a moment.
