Hogen did not understand his father's thoughts either. After landing on the ground, he began examining the Storm Release Puppet.
"I've seen Dad has a lot of these puppets, but he rarely takes them out to use. But isn't the Storm Release one not the strongest? Why use it as a sparring partner?"
After hearing this, Kakashi explained the Bloodline Fruit to Hogen, who immediately understood.
"Oh! That thing! I used to beg to eat it when I was little, but Dad never gave me any. I can't believe he let you eat it!"
"Still, not bad. Storm Release suits you well."
Hogen had no particular desire for Kekkei Genkai. He simply wanted to play with them, so Torikaze naturally could not give him one.
After all, Hogen had inherited all of Torikaze's abilities. Just fully mastering those abilities would take over a decade.
"It really is nice. I was happy for several days after gaining this Kekkei Genkai. There are very few Lightning Release Kekkei Genkai, yet I got one right away."
That was entirely a matter of luck. Kakashi possessed all five Chakra natures, and the Kekkei Genkai he obtained had been randomly selected from among all Kekkei Genkai.
Getting Storm Release even so was incredibly lucky.
After chatting for a few more moments, Hogen turned into a cloud of mist and flew toward the front courtyard.
Kakashi continued with another round of training.
He had gradually come to enjoy this feeling of steadily growing stronger.
He just did not understand why he had never felt this way when training at home.
In the front courtyard, Torikaze was reclining in a chair when he saw a cloud of mist whooshing toward him.
It looked as though it intended to attack him.
Torikaze merely smiled and shook his head.
