Sky City, Pioneer Hall.
This was a new office site established by the Spirit Association. Registered Pioneers had gathered here to discuss countermeasures.
"What do we do now?"
"This is too hopeless. How could we possibly deal with an Anomaly like this?"
"It can't be solved. It can't be fought. I saw the entire city weeping in grief. Everyone will be buried, entombed forever beneath this land. We have no way to resolve this. The Spirit Association, people like us—we're just a joke."
"The captain said she went to seek help."
"You know what it's like outside the city," someone suddenly cut in.
"It's already completely surrounded by tombs. Even if the captain really brings back help, it'll be useless. They can't get in at all..."
Despair hung over everyone's hearts.
They had seen the situation outside. The only route in and out had been completely blocked by Tombstones. There were far too many skeletal Anomalies there. There was simply no way to deal with them!
By now, Tombstones covered the entire city.
Sky City's exits had been sealed off by Tombstones.
No one could enter. No one could leave.
Would Sky City become an isolated city? Were they going to be trapped inside and wait to die?
Damn it!
Although the captain had successfully made it out, the situation had not been this terrifying before she left.
When she departed, there had only been two Tombstones at the intersection. Now, Tombstones densely packed the entire area!
"What the hell are these things? Why did so many Tombstones suddenly fall from the sky? What exactly is beneath them?"
One person's eyes were filled with terror.
He had personally watched a Pioneer companion stronger than himself get dragged inside, then silently swallowed beneath a Tombstone without even a trace of struggle,
