"I should be going now," Lin Tian said softly.

Yang Mei stood quietly to the side, gazing at this old friend before him. Though they had not known each other long, they had discussed the Dao together, shared their insights and realizations, and had long since become friends.

Now, hearing that Lin Tian was about to leave, Yang Mei felt some reluctance in his heart, but he understood that everyone had their own path to walk.

"Since that is the case, I will not press you to stay," Yang Mei said slowly.

Lin Tian smiled and nodded, then cupped his hands in a salute to Yang Mei. "If fate allows us to meet again, I will surely join you once more in discussing the Dao and drinking to our hearts' content, never stopping until we are drunk!"

Yang Mei returned the smile and replied, "Good. Then let us part here, and look forward to our next reunion."

With these words, Lin Tian turned and strode away, his figure gradually vanishing at the edge of the horizon.
