Meeting an "Acquaintance"

After an unknown amount of time had passed, Lin Tian and Yang Mei finished discussing the Dao, and the surrounding phenomena faded away.

"Through this discussion of the Dao, I have benefited greatly. I owe it all to you, fellow Daoist."

Yang Mei had already touched upon the bottleneck of the Heavenly Dao Realm, and this discussion of the Dao had benefited him immensely.

"You are too kind. Your Great Dao of Space has also benefited me greatly and given me many insights."

Lin Tian was being modest, but he was telling the truth.

Yang Mei's Great Dao of Space had given him a new understanding of his own Dao.

"Haha, I have truly enjoyed meeting you, fellow Daoist."

Yang Mei was extremely pleased. Since coming into existence, he had never met a fellow Daoist like Lin Tian.

With a wave of his hand, a pavilion appeared.

Several stools and a table stood inside.

There were also some rare spiritual fruits on the table.

"These are some spiritual fruits I obtained while traveling through Chaos. Please, fellow Daoist, have a taste."

Lin Tian did not stand on ceremony. He sat down, picked up a fruit, and began eating.

The fruit resembled dates from his previous life. It was fragrant and juicy, leaving a lingering sweetness in his mouth.

"Not bad. I have something good as well."

Lin Tian stretched out his hand, and a jug of fruit wine immediately appeared in it.

With another wave, two wine cups appeared on the table.

"Hm? What is this? It smells quite fragrant."

Yang Mei had never seen such a thing before and was rather puzzled.

Lin Tian smiled faintly. "This is Spiritual Wine I brewed myself, made from various spiritual fruits!"

Yang Mei picked up a cup and took a sip. His eyes immediately lit up.

"Sweet, fragrant, rich, and mellow. The aroma is intoxicating. Fine wine!"

The two of them ate and drank together.

"I should be going now," Lin Tian said softly.

He had already stayed for several thousand years. It was time to leave.

Yang Mei stood quietly to the side, looking at his old friend before him. Though they had not known each other for long, they had discussed the Dao together and shared their insights and experiences. They had long since become friends.

Now that he heard Lin Tian was leaving, Yang Mei felt somewhat reluctant to part, but he also understood that everyone had their own path to walk.

"Since that is so, I will not try too hard to keep you," Yang Mei said slowly.

Lin Tian smiled and nodded. Then he cupped his hands toward Yang Mei in salute. "If fate allows us to meet again someday, I will surely discuss the Dao and drink with you again, brother, until neither of us can get drunk enough!"

Yang Mei returned his smile and replied, "Good. Then let us part here. I look forward to our next reunion."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Tian turned and strode away, his figure gradually vanishing beyond the horizon.

Yang Mei watched Lin Tian depart. After a moment of silence, he too turned and entered his cave abode, preparing to enter seclusion and continue exploring the mysteries of the Great Dao.

"Chaos Demon Ape, what more do you want? I do not have time to play with you!"

Seal Demon God glared furiously at the Chaos Demon Ape before him.

He had long heard that the Chaos Demon Ape was battle-crazed and had challenged many Chaos Demon Gods throughout Chaos. He was relentless, and many Chaos Demon Gods were sick of him.

He never expected to run into him this time. What rotten luck!

"Hehe, Seal Demon God, since we have met, let us have a fight. Let me see whether your Law of Seal is stronger or my Law of Battle is stronger!"

The Chaos Demon Ape grinned. Without waiting for Seal Demon God to respond, he raised the Sky-Propping Staff and charged forward.

Seal Demon God had never expected the Chaos Demon Ape to be so arrogant!

The Chaos Demon Ape fearlessly charged straight at the Law of Seal he had unleashed, mana surging throughout his body like raging waves.

Seal Demon God snorted coldly. A compass appeared before him as his hands rapidly formed seals and he muttered an incantation.

Following his movements, an incomparably powerful force surged from his body and transformed into a mysterious rune that shot toward the Chaos Demon Ape.

In the blink of an eye, the rune landed on the Chaos Demon Ape, binding him tightly.

The Chaos Demon Ape felt his body suddenly become incomparably heavy, as though a mountain were pressing down on him, making him unable to move in the slightest.

Yet the Chaos Demon Ape showed no panic. Instead, excitement and anticipation flashed through his eyes.

He opened his massive jaws and let out a deafening roar. The mana within him erupted wildly like a volcanic eruption.

As that tremendous mana exploded, the Chaos Demon Ape exerted all his strength and violently struggled. Cracks actually appeared in the supposedly indestructible seal.

Then, without hesitation, he lunged at Seal Demon God once more.

In an instant, the two Chaos Demon Gods clashed fiercely.

Every attack they launched contained earth-shattering power. The surrounding Chaos Qi churned violently and ran rampant, forming terrifying storms.

Although the Chaos Demon Ape's Law of Battle was exceptionally powerful, he and Seal Demon God were locked in a stalemate against Seal Demon God's unfathomable Great Seal Technique.

The two exchanged blow after blow without giving an inch, and the battle grew ever more intense...

"Hm? There are fluctuations from a battle ahead?"

While flying, Lin Tian sensed Demon Gods fighting ahead. He sped up, wanting to investigate.

"Hm? Is that the Demon Ape and Seal Demon God?"

The Chaos Demon Ape looked displeased as he roared angrily at Lin Tian.

"Oh? You two keep fighting, and I will keep watching. We are not affecting each other, are we?"

Lin Tian looked at the Chaos Demon Ape with a teasing expression.

The Chaos Demon Ape nearly exploded with rage.
