Lin Tian officiated Di Xuan and Yue Yao’s Human Marriage, which earned them merit and strengthened the Human Race. After explaining the Human Way and how the Heavenly Dao had suppressed it, Lin Tian was greeted by Tongtian.

• Lin Tian told Di Xuan that Yue Yao had long loved him and announced he would officiate their marriage; Di Xuan admitted he had feelings for her too.
• Lin Tian established the Human Marriage before the gathered crowd, and Di Xuan and Yue Yao exchanged vows as the Human Race celebrated.

Tongtian visited Lin Tian, drank his Spiritual Wine, and confided in him about the Three Pure Ones’ falling-out. He revealed that he had settled on Golden Ao Island and asked Lin Tian to preach the Dao to his disciples, leaving Lin Tian amused by the real purpose of his visit.

• Lin Tian welcomed Tongtian with Cloud Mist Tea and shared Spiritual Wine from his Chaos Gourd, which Tongtian recognized as the fused seven gourds from the Innate Gourd Vine.

• Tongtian asked Lin Tian to preach to his disciples, and Lin Tian warned him that Heavenly Dao Saints lacked freedom before agreeing to go with him to Golden Ao Island.
• A tiger-headed Demon Marshal led the extermination of the Black Water tribe and ordered his troops to collect the humans’ souls and blood essence.
• The Demon Marshal said the Demon Race was following orders from the Demon Emperor and directed his troops to withdraw to their next target.

Qinyuan allowed the ten Golden Crows to leave the Demon Realm for a hundred years, while Di Jun faced Taiyi’s accusation that he had ordered human cultivators slaughtered for their souls and blood essence. Di Jun refused to change course, and Qinyuan chose to stand by him despite her fears.

• The ten Golden Crows pleaded with Qinyuan to let them travel, and she agreed after laying down strict rules and a hundred-year deadline.

The ten Golden Crows were mysteriously compelled to burn human settlements and attack the Witch Clan. After they devastated Houtu's tribe, Kua Fu pursued them while Hou Yi set out with his bow and arrows to stop them.

• The ten Golden Crows lost awareness of themselves and flew east, repeating that they acted for the Demon Race.
• The Golden Crows burned the Qianyu Tribe, killing its people and tribe chief with True Sun Fire.
• The Golden Crows invaded Houtu's tribe, where Kua Fu arrived but could not catch up with them as they flew away.

Kua Fu chased the ten Golden Crows until exhaustion and died, transforming into a mountain of peach trees. Hou Yi arrived to avenge him and shot down Di Wu, while the remaining Golden Crows fled.

• Kua Fu pursued the ten Golden Crows as they burned tribes along the way, and Ying Sha was killed by his own chief after rejecting the Demon Race.
• The exhausted Kua Fu drank a great river dry, then collapsed and died while the Golden Crows waited nearby.

After the deaths of Di Jun and Qin Yuan’s sons, Qin Yuan and Eastern Emperor Taiyi demanded revenge against the Witch Clan, and Di Jun ordered the Demon Race to attack Buzhou Mountain. Di Jun then left abruptly on a private mission, prompting Taiyi to send the army forward cautiously while he followed his brother.

• Qin Yuan grieved with Di Shi, blamed Hou Yi and the Witch Clan for her sons’ deaths, and demanded that Taiyi destroy them.
• Taiyi said he had erased Hou Yi and revealed that the Demon Race’s forces and Great Zhou Heavenly Stars Formation were ready to attack Buzhou Mountain.

• Gong Gong and Zhu Rong assigned Great Witches to defend the approaches to Pangu Hall while they waited for reinforcements and worried about Houtu’s missing avatar.
• Zhu Rong suddenly accused Gong Gong of cowardice, and a golden light passed through both ancestral witches’ eyes as they began arguing.
• Gong Gong and Zhu Rong transformed into their true forms and clashed with water and fire, forcing the Great Witches back when they tried to intervene.

The Demon Race attacked the Witch Clan at Buzhou Mountain while Gong Gong and Zhurong, apparently manipulated, fought each other and nearly brought down the mountain. Houtu stopped Gong Gong and restored both ancestral witches’ memories, and the Witch Clan drove the Demon Race into retreat before turning to question Gong Gong and Zhurong.

• Great Witch Huo Li, Jiu Feng, Xiang Liu, Feng Bo, Yu Shi, and the Witch Clan warriors fought the invading Demon Race as casualties mounted.
• Gong Gong declared he would destroy Buzhou Mountain and charged toward it, while Zhurong continued attacking both Witch Clan and Demon Race fighters.
• Houtu arrived with the other ancestral witches and Witch Clan army, blocked Gong Gong’s charge, and used clear light to restore Gong Gong and Zhurong’s senses.
• The ancestral witches overwhelmed the Demon Race, killing several demon gods, and Bai Ze ordered the surviving army to retreat.

Inside Pangu Hall, the ancestral witches learned that Gong Gong and Zhu Rong had been controlled into fighting each other, and Gong Gong had nearly destroyed Buzhou Mountain. Unable to identify the culprit, Houtu ordered a full-scale attack on the Demon Race, set to begin in one thousand years.

• Gong Gong and Zhu Rong denied willingly fighting each other, and the other ancestral witches recounted how they had nearly destroyed Buzhou Mountain.
• Houtu argued that an outside force had controlled Gong Gong and Zhu Rong, and Qiangliang agreed that only a few powerful figures could have done so.
• The ancestral witches debated whether Di Jun, the Three Pure Ones, the Western sages, or Hongjun was responsible, but they had no proof.
• Ju Mang asked Houtu how they should proceed, and she called for vengeance against the Demon Race for slaughtering their clansmen.

Di Jun confronted Hongjun over his children’s deaths and learned that Hongjun had made him a Saint to use him as a pawn for the Heavenly Dao. After Di Jun rejected his Saint’s seat and attacked, Hongjun overwhelmed him and moved to destroy him, but Taiyi arrived at the last moment.

• Di Jun entered Purple Cloud Palace and demanded that Hongjun explain whether he had manipulated Di Jun’s nine children into causing destruction and dying.
• Hongjun revealed that he had chosen Di Jun as a useful pawn, and Di Jun realized the Saint’s seat had been part of a plan to use him and the Demon Race.
• Di Jun ignited his origin and primordial spirit, renounced his Saint’s seat, and attacked Hongjun, but Hongjun’s Heavenly Dao barrier stopped him.
• Hongjun wounded Di Jun, blocked his attempt to heal, and prepared to reclaim his Primordial Chaos Purple Qi and kill him.
• Taiyi’s bronze bell flew into Purple Cloud Palace and struck at Hongjun, who dispelled it and recognized Taiyi outside the gates.

Taiyi came to Purple Cloud Palace to stand with Di Jun against Hongjun, but Hongjun killed both brothers and seized Di Jun’s Primordial Chaos Purple Qi. After Haotian reported delivering Hongjun’s decree to Taiqing, Hongjun disappeared, leaving Haotian and Yaochi alone in the hall.

• Taiyi arrived at Purple Cloud Palace and confronted Hongjun, then was struck down when Hongjun attacked him.
• Di Jun and Taiyi joined forces and taunted Hongjun by invoking Lin Tian, provoking Hongjun to unleash a destructive attack.
• Taiyi used the Chaos Bell to defend them, but Hongjun’s attack shattered its defenses and killed Taiyi.
• Di Jun burned his Saint origin to avenge Taiyi, but Hongjun suppressed him, stripped away his Primordial Chaos Purple Qi, and annihilated him.

With the Demon Race on the verge of defeat and their rulers missing, Qin Yuan sent Di Shi away to survive, but he returned to protect her. Taishang intervened under Hongjun’s decree and forced the Witch Clan to withdraw, leaving Qin Yuan and Di Shi alive amid the devastation.

• Qin Yuan learned that the Demon Race could not find Your Majesty or the Eastern Emperor and that Kunpeng refused to leave secluded cultivation, then ordered the warriors to fight on.
• Qin Yuan renamed Di Shi Lu Ya and ordered Lin Lie to take him somewhere safe, but Di Shi returned after Lin Lie left him unattended.
• Qin Yuan charged into the battle and was badly injured by Houtu, while Di Shi shielded her and pleaded for her life.
• As Qiangliang prepared to kill Qin Yuan and Di Shi, Taishang appeared and declared that Hongjun’s decree forbade the Demon Race from perishing.
• Houtu withdrew the Witch Clan rather than risk Taishang attacking them, and Taishang departed as Qin Yuan and Di Shi survived among the ruins.

Lin Tian preached the Dao to the Interception Sect, then warned Tongtian that unruly disciples could damage the sect, though Tongtian dismissed the concern. After meeting Tongtian’s senior disciples, Lin Tian went with him to investigate a drifting island and discovered a gigantic tortoise beneath it.

• Lin Tian preached for three thousand years, deepening the disciples’ understanding of the Dao, and they thanked him before departing.
• Lin Tian cautioned Tongtian that the Interception Sect’s many disciples might bring trouble, but Tongtian insisted they were loyal and would not disgrace the sect.
• Duobao, Jin Ling, Zhao Gongming, Yunxiao, Qiongxiao, and Bixiao met Lin Tian, and Bixiao asked how powerful he was; Lin Tian answered that he had simply cultivated longer than Tongtian.

• Lin Tian exchanged three Top-grade Innate Spiritual Treasures and a top-grade Primordial Spirit Root for the Black Tortoise’s shell, then left Golden Ao Island.

Xing Tian appeared before Lin Tian and the Ancestral Witches, recounted how Taiyi had killed Hou Yi and severed his head, and declared that he would continue fighting in his new form. Houtu granted Xing Tian access to Pangu's Blood Pool as she prepared to return to the Netherworld, while Lin Tian left to visit the human race.

• Xing Tian knelt before Lin Tian and the Ancestral Witches, who recognized him by his weapons and were shocked by his headless form.
• Xing Tian explained that Taiyi had killed Hou Yi and shattered his head, but an unseen will had revived him and he had made a new head from his chest and navel.
• Ru Shou asked Lin Tian to restore Xing Tian, but Xing Tian refused, calling his form the start of his rebirth and vowing to keep protecting the Witch Clan.
• Lin Tian praised Xing Tian's resolve, and Houtu allowed him to enter Pangu's Blood Pool to recover his cultivation.
• Houtu and the Ancestral Witches prepared to return to the Netherworld, and Lin Tian departed to visit the human race.

At Purple Cloud Palace, Hongjun revealed that Lin Tian had erased Di Jun beyond the Heavenly Dao’s power to revive and proposed creating a Heavenly Emperor to restore order after the Demon Race’s collapse. He asked the assembled Saints who should take the position.

• Jieyin and Zhunti wondered why Di Jun and Taiyi had not appeared during the Witch-Demon war, then answered Hongjun’s summons to Purple Cloud Palace.
• Tongtian addressed Taishang and Yuanshi as elder brothers, but Yuanshi ignored him, while Haotian and Yaochi were likewise dismissed by the Saints.
