The ancestors returned. Their enormous starship broke free of the shackles of time and space, drawing close to the Other Shore Universe.
"Hehe, the closer one gets to home, the more timid one feels. We have been away for so many years; my heart can hardly stay calm," one ancestor said.
That was what he said, but no matter how one looked at him, he showed none of the unease in his heart. Instead, his face was full of smiles, his high spirits carrying a trace of excitement.
A small group of ancestors stared at the young man on the starship's large screen. They had already begun stretching their limbs and loosening their muscles.
"I say, everyone, take it easy. Do not scare the child later," someone advised, even as he himself rolled up his sleeves.
"Haha, do not overthink it. We are merely checking that boy's cultivation results and urging him to improve."
Aboard the colossal starship, a group of old men brimmed with vitality, like ferocious beasts caged for too long and finally ready to burst free.
Exploring the remnants of truth had been perilous, even requiring bloody battles, but the journey home had been far too monotonous. They had not fought for a long time and were practically rusting.
More importantly, they had been forced to participate in battle on the Return to Truth Path. After campaigning across countless lands, the bloodiness of their youth had been awakened once more. With no opponents these days, they felt rather unaccustomed to it.
