Shinobu Kocho answered respectfully, without the slightest hesitation.

Only Makomo blinked, watching Feng Ye lead Shinobu Kocho away with some curiosity. She did not know what her master intended to do, but she was not worried either. She merely prayed silently that Shinobu Kocho would be able to fulfill her wish.

Feng Ye led Shinobu Kocho outside. Some Demon Slayer Corps members passed by along the way, yet none of them seemed aware of the two. It was as though they could not see them at all.

Shinobu Kocho showed no change in expression at this strange sight. Though she had only seen Feng Ye a few times over the past months, she still knew something of his power. As long as Feng Ye did not wish it, even if he stood right in front of her, she would be unable to see him or even touch him.

She had long since seen such a sight more than once.

"Six months have passed, yet your resolve has not changed."

Feng Ye spoke casually as he walked.

Shinobu Kocho followed beside him and said softly, "From the moment my sister left, only one resolve remained in my life."

"Perhaps your sister would not have wanted to see you like this," Feng Ye said.

Shinobu Kocho raised her head, revealing a gentle, lovely smile. With an almost innocent brightness, she said, "I'm already past the age where my sister can discipline me."

Feng Ye stopped and looked at Shinobu Kocho. He could not help but laugh. "Your sister should hear you say that."

Shinobu Kocho blinked. "I'd like my sister to hear it too."

Feng Ye gazed into Shinobu Kocho's eyes. "Do you think I have the power to resurrect the dead?"

Shinobu Kocho smiled. "I don't know."
