In a secluded courtyard.

Kagaya Ubuyashiki sat in the corridor, gazing at the sky outside. In truth, his eyes had almost completely lost their sight; they could only perceive faint traces of light.

With the sound of footsteps, someone spoke respectfully.

"Oyakata-sama, Tanjiro Kamado has been brought here."

In the courtyard, the Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima led Tanjiro forward, then respectfully bowed to Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

Though Tanjiro was somewhat distracted, he quickly followed the Stone Hashira in bowing.

"There is no need to be nervous. Rise."

Kagaya Ubuyashiki responded gently, raising a hand to signal for them both to stand.

Tanjiro still had bandages wrapped around parts of his body, clearly not yet fully recovered. Facing Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, he could not help feeling slightly restrained.

"Tanjiro Kamado, you have worked very hard. You have done well thus far."

Kagaya Ubuyashiki spoke to Tanjiro.

Tanjiro raised his head in surprise. "You know about me?"

Kagaya Ubuyashiki smiled without answering. At the side, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima said quietly, "Oyakata-sama knows the circumstances of every Corps member."

After a brief hesitation, Tanjiro could not help asking Kagaya Ubuyashiki, "Um, may I ask... where is the one who can turn Nezuko back into a human?"

Facing Tanjiro's direction, Kagaya Ubuyashiki paused briefly before saying, "I am sorry, but I cannot reveal that information to you at present."

"I understand. I will work hard to become a Hashira."

Hearing Kagaya Ubuyashiki's words, Tanjiro's eyes revealed a trace of resolve.
