Chapter Summaries

Feng Ye captured the Seven-Tails and sealed it inside Kurenai Yuhi as her new companion, then returned her and Rin to Konoha. Meanwhile, Akatsuki learned the Seven-Tails had been taken and Nagato prepared to master Impure World Reincarnation.

• Feng Ye drew some of the Seven-Tails' Chakra and persuaded it that he did not intend to capture it for the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Rin connected the Three-Tails with the Seven-Tails, and the two Tailed Beasts spoke before Chomei accepted Kurenai Yuhi as its Jinchuriki.
• Feng Ye sealed the Seven-Tails inside Kurenai Yuhi, then sent her and Rin back to Konoha using the Flying Thunder God.
• Kegon regained consciousness, decided to purge Takigakure's opponents of submission to Konoha, and left the canyon as White Zetsu discovered the Seven-Tails was gone.

Black Zetsu prepared an army of Impure World Reincarnations and planned to revive Madara Uchiha to counter Feng Ye and restore Kaguya Otsutsuki. Feng Ye remained confident in his power and decided it was time to move against the great countries.

• Nagato studied the labeled coffins of powerful shinobi from history and believed the Akatsuki could still change the Shinobi World’s fate.
• Black Zetsu searched for more remains and planned to use the reincarnated army to seize the tailed beasts, revive Madara Uchiha, and prepare for Kaguya Otsutsuki’s return.
• Feng Ye observed that Kurenai Yuhi had mastered the Seven-Tails’ power and that the Land of Fire had absorbed the neighboring small countries.
• Feng Ye concluded that Black Zetsu’s remaining options were Impure World Reincarnation and reviving Madara Uchiha, but he felt strong enough to face them.

Feng Ye offered Anko a dangerous path to greater strength by training with Zero-Tails Void, and she chose to try it. After modifying Tobirama Senju’s Forbidden Jutsu, Feng Ye took Anko to the back mountain to oversee her practice.

• Kurenai Yuhi and Might Guy were appointed captains of the Sixth and Ninth Divisions, completing the roster of all nine Shadow Guard divisions.

Kakashi led Konoha’s forces in a devastating assault on Sunagakure, overwhelming its defenders. The battle descended into chaos when Obito and other resurrected ninja arrived, attacking both sides under Impure World Reincarnation.

• Kakashi’s team and the Shadow Guard launched a surprise attack, scattering Sunagakure’s defenders and turning the village into a battlefield.
• Kakashi drove back Fourth Kazekage Rasa, while Shisui Uchiha and Kurenai Yuhi severely wounded Sunagakure’s Anbu captain.

The Nine-Tails played games with Yoshisa Nara until Feng Ye gave it Chakra and it charged at Hashirama Senju. Hashirama Senju and Hatake Sakumo reached Konoha, where Sakumo nearly killed a guard before Feng Ye stopped him and called him Father.

• The Nine-Tails repeatedly lost fighting games to Yoshisa Nara and smashed several controllers in anger.

• Hatake Sakumo recognized Feng Ye as the Fifth Hokage, attacked under the Impure World Reincarnation’s control, and was immobilized by Feng Ye’s paralysis formula.

Tobirama warned that the reincarnated shinobi threatened the whole Shinobi World just as the First Kazekage and First Mizukage unleashed devastating attacks on the battlefield.

Kakashi and the Konoha and Sand forces survived the former Kage’s attacks when Rin and Kurenai Yuhi transformed into Tailed Beasts, but Tobirama Senju struck down the Seven-Tails and sealed away its severed wing. With the resurrected Kage still controlled by Impure World Reincarnation, Kakashi and Rasa agreed to cooperate and wait for Feng Ye, leaving Tobirama to ask how strong Konoha’s current Hokage was.

• Kakashi and Obito Uchiha’s Kamui vortices canceled each other, but Rin and Kurenai Yuhi transformed into the Three-Tails and Seven-Tails and stopped the former Kage’s attacks.

Tobirama Senju briefly escaped Nagato’s control and tried to evacuate the outmatched shinobi as the former Kage overwhelmed them. Just as Kurenai Yuhi faced a lethal attack, Feng Ye arrived on the battlefield as the Fifth Hokage.

• The former Kage launched renewed attacks, and Kakashi’s group struggled to hold them back despite Rin Nohara and Kurenai Yuhi blocking the opening assault with Tailed Beast Bombs.
• Shisui Uchiha used Kotoamatsukami to free Tobirama Senju from Nagato’s control, but said he could not use the technique again soon.

Nagato summoned Madara Uchiha with Impure World Reincarnation to help fight Feng Ye, but Madara seized control of Nagato and revived himself with Reanimation Jutsu. Madara took Nagato’s Rinnegan and prepared to proceed with the plan despite lacking the complete Nine-Tails.

• Nagato learned that Feng Ye had defeated Hashirama Senju and decided to summon Madara Uchiha with Impure World Reincarnation.
• Madara Uchiha emerged from a coffin and learned from Black Zetsu about Feng Ye and the plan.
• Madara used the Rinnegan’s power to immobilize Nagato and force him to perform the Reanimation Jutsu.
• Madara regained his living body, gouged out Nagato’s Rinnegan, and placed them in his own eye sockets.
• Black Zetsu told Madara that portions of the Eight-Tails’ and Nine-Tails’ Chakra could still allow them to revive the Ten-Tails.

Feng Ye overwhelmed the reincarnated former Kage in Sunagakure with his speed and Truth-Seeking Orb weapons, then sealed Tobirama Senju despite Tobirama trying to warn him. He turned to Kakashi and Obito afterward, unaware that the others found his treatment of Tobirama troubling.

• Feng Ye struck Chiyo and the Second Mizukage with blindingly fast kicks, then destroyed their regenerating bodies with Truth-Seeking Orb spears.
• Feng Ye defeated the First Mizukage and shattered the First Kazekage’s Thousand-Cut Wind Blade with a casual wave.
• Feng Ye swept through the battlefield and defeated the remaining reincarnated Kage and Kirigakure fighters.

Meanwhile, Kumogakure struggled against reanimated Raikage and other fallen shinobi as Minato feared the enemy was gathering the Tailed Beasts and targeting Feng Ye and Rin.

• Obito told Feng Ye that the Tailed Beasts were hidden north of Kumogakure and warned that the enemy might already have begun its plan.
• Kakashi used Kamui to cancel Obito's Hollowfication, allowing Feng Ye to pierce and destroy Obito with a Truth-Seeking Orb.
• Feng Ye left Kakashi to deal with Rasa and the remaining Sand Shinobi, whose weapons fell as they realized they could not win.
• The First Lightning Shadow, Second Raikage, and Third Raikage overwhelmed Kumogakure, while the Fourth Raikage and Killer B struggled to resist them.
