Ch. 442Golden Lion Would Reach the Battlefield in Five Seconds

Feng Ye picnicked with Robin and Aokiji in the East Blue, explaining that he had come to deal with Golden Lion and acknowledging his own responsibility for the pirate’s rampage. The chapter ended with Feng Ye predicting Golden Lion’s imminent arrival as Aokiji and Robin realized a confrontation was near.

  • Aokiji questioned why Feng Ye had come to the East Blue, and Feng Ye said he was traveling while assuring him he held no current hostility toward the Marines.
  • Feng Ye told Aokiji he had come to deal with Golden Lion, whose actions had thrown the East Blue into chaos.
  • Aokiji reflected that Feng Ye had shown the Marines mercy and said he believed in his own justice, while Feng Ye challenged his record over Robin’s destroyed hometown.
  • Feng Ye warned that trouble would arrive soon, and Robin and Aokiji concluded that Golden Lion was coming.

Ch. 443The Flying Pirate Group Arrives

Kuina warned Feng Ye, Robin, and Aokiji that the Flying Pirate Group was coming to avenge its men. As she spoke with them, the massive airborne pirate fleet arrived above the island.

  • Koshiro and Kuina prepared to leave the island after its villagers had evacuated, and Kuina told him that Feng Ye and Robin's ship seemed mysteriously empty.
  • Kuina asked Zoro whether Feng Ye and Robin had returned, then went to find them when he said he had not seen them.
  • Kuina found Feng Ye, Robin, and Aokiji by a campfire and warned them that the Flying Pirate Group would come after Koshiro killed its men.
  • Aokiji and Feng Ye reassured Kuina that they were safe, but she saw the Flying Pirate Group's enormous fleet and floating islands appear in the sky.

Ch. 444Pirates Forbidden from Landing Here

Golden Lion sent his Flying Pirate Group to destroy Shimotsuki Village after learning that a subordinate crew had been defeated there. As hundreds of pirates surrounded Koshiro, Kuina, and Zoro, Aokiji appeared and began to freeze the shore, confronting them with his Ice Age technique.

  • Golden Lion ordered his fleet to make Shimotsuki Village disappear after learning that islanders had taken out one of his subordinate crews.
  • Zoro and Koshiro spotted the Flying Pirate Group overhead, and Kuina hurried back to them as the fleet stopped above the island.
  • Hundreds of pirates landed on the shore, and Koshiro told Kuina and Zoro to hide, but both drew their swords and refused to leave him.
  • Aokiji appeared on a reef and warned the pirates that they were forbidden from landing on the island.
  • The pirates' captain aimed his revolvers at Aokiji, who began his Ice Age attack.

Ch. 445Aokiji: You've Encountered a World-Class Boss

Aokiji froze the coast and sea to stop Golden Lion from destroying the island, but Golden Lion’s overwhelming presence left the nearby swordsmen helpless. Feng Ye stepped forward to confront Golden Lion Shiki after Aokiji drew attention to him.

  • Aokiji froze the pirates, coastline, and sea, including the ship carrying Kuina, Zoro, and the others.
  • Golden Lion descended and threatened to destroy the island, unleashing sword intent and Conqueror’s Haki that overwhelmed Kuina, Zoro, and the others.
  • Shimotsuki Kozaburo identified Golden Lion as a Great Swordsman near the pinnacle of the Way of the Sword.
  • Aokiji admitted he could not protect the island from Golden Lion’s attacks and would set aside his pride to protect its civilians.
  • Feng Ye stepped forward and asked Golden Lion Shiki if he had said he would make everything on the island disappear.

Ch. 446I Just Want to Spar with You in Swordsmanship

Golden Lion invited Feng Ye to join him in conquering the world, but Feng Ye refused and challenged him to a swordsmanship spar. Their clash began with Feng Ye breaking through Golden Lion’s first attack, and Golden Lion answered with a storm of slashes.

  • Golden Lion recognized Feng Ye and invited him to become his right-hand man in a plan to replace the World Government.
  • Feng Ye refused, saying he had no interest in ruling the world.
  • Feng Ye drew Demon Blade Muramasa, rose to face Golden Lion, and said he wanted to spar with him in swordsmanship.
  • Golden Lion attacked with Wave Slash, and Feng Ye countered with a pale-blue sword aura that shattered the golden slash and pushed toward him.
  • Golden Lion suppressed the remaining sword aura with his legs, then unleashed Lion, Thousand Slice Valley at Feng Ye.

Ch. 447Feng Ye vs. Golden Lion

Feng Ye countered Golden Lion’s swordsmanship and devastating attacks while calmly defending against his speed, leaving Zoro, Kuina, and the others stunned by the duel’s scale. As Feng Ye declared he had seen enough, the golden clock in his eyes shifted from “Ⅳ” to “Ⅰ.”

  • Feng Ye’s silver sword net erased Golden Lion’s golden slashes, prompting Golden Lion to rely on the Float-Float Fruit and attack at extreme speed.
  • Golden Lion raised the shore’s sand and ice at Feng Ye, but Feng Ye split the attack and carved enormous trenches through the island and frozen sea.
  • Zoro and Kuina watched the battle in awe, and both concluded that Feng Ye would win, though Kuina doubted Zoro’s instincts.
  • Golden Lion taunted Feng Ye while continuing to attack, believing Feng Ye’s inability to counter his speed meant the duel was decided.
  • Feng Ye said he had seen all of Golden Lion’s swordsmanship and was ready to end the fight as the golden clock in his eyes changed from “Ⅳ” to “Ⅰ.”

Ch. 448True Atomic Slash

Feng Ye used Time Acceleration, Six Paths Mode, and the Eight Gates Released Formation to defeat Golden Lion with a vastly enhanced Atomic Slash. Golden Lion died in the East Blue, and news of Feng Ye’s return shook the sea.

  • Feng Ye activated thirtyfold Time Acceleration, Six Paths Mode, and the Eight Gates Released Formation despite the strain on his body.
  • Feng Ye closed in on Golden Lion at extreme speed and unleashed the True Atomic Slash.
  • Feng Ye sheathed Muramasa and told Golden Lion that he had lost.
  • Golden Lion was reduced to nearly invisible fragments and scattered by the sea wind.
  • Golden Lion died in the East Blue, marking Feng Ye’s first move in many years and stirring the sea once more.

Ch. 449Leaving

After Feng Ye killed Golden Lion, he saved the falling pirates and warships, gathered the crashing islands into a mountain range beside Shimotsuki Village, and left with Robin aboard the Ohara. A closing author’s note celebrated the novel reaching one million words.

  • Zoro and Kuina learned from Shimotsuki Kozaburo that Feng Ye was known as the Man Closest to God and perhaps the world’s strongest person.
  • After Golden Lion died, his Float-Float Fruit power failed, sending the pirate ships and floating islands crashing toward the sea.
  • Feng Ye asked Aokiji to handle the pirates, hurled the falling ships onto the frozen sea, and used Planetary Devastation to join the falling islands into the Traveler Mountain Range.
  • Feng Ye and Robin returned to the Ohara, which sailed away across the ice.

Ch. 450The Future Ahead

Garp learned that The Traveler had defeated Golden Lion and left Aokiji to handle the captured pirates while he headed home to see Luffy. On the Ohara, Feng Ye considered how to strengthen himself and planned to stay in this world while seeking time-type Devil Fruits and the Phantom Clock’s sixth mark.

  • Garp ordered his warships to speed toward Aokiji’s signal after failing to contact him.
  • Aokiji told Garp that the Flying Pirate Group had been arrested and Golden Lion had been taken out by The Traveler.
  • Garp sent the warships to Aokiji and gave him authority over the prisoners before deciding to go see Luffy.
  • Feng Ye and Robin relaxed on the Ohara as Robin remarked on the Four Seas’ pleasant weather.
  • Feng Ye decided to remain in the world, grow stronger, and pursue time-type Devil Fruits to unlock the Phantom Clock’s sixth mark.

Ch. 451The Three Titans Meet

Feng Ye and Robin traveled to the island where Luffy had grown up, while Feng Ye reflected on his plans to master Phantom Clock and revisit the worlds he had left behind. They arrived as Garp, Dragon, and Shanks met in the village, unaware that Feng Ye was approaching.

  • Feng Ye considered how mastering Phantom Clock might let him travel through time and reunite people from the worlds he had visited.
  • Robin spotted an island, and Feng Ye identified the figures there as a revolutionary, a Marine hero, a red-haired pirate, and a Bandit King.
  • Feng Ye and Robin changed clothes, sailed to shore, and walked across the water onto the island.
  • Feng Ye recognized the island as Luffy’s hometown and reflected on how his presence had changed the world’s original course.
  • Garp confronted Shanks about visiting his hometown, while Shanks said he had returned to revisit it and that meeting Luffy had been an accident.
  • Garp let Shanks go, not realizing how much influence Shanks would have on Luffy.

Ch. 452Is There Enough Liquor for Four?

Feng Ye arrived at the clearing where Garp, Dragon, and Shanks were meeting, startling the Revolutionary Army and easing the tension among the three men. After making himself a liquor bowl with his powers, he joined them for a drink and denied that he was a god, calling himself a slightly stronger human.

  • Ivankov tried to reassure the Revolutionary Army officers that Dragon could handle Garp and Shanks and that they could retreat if negotiations failed.
  • Feng Ye called out to ask whether there was enough liquor for four, and Ivankov recognized him as the Traveler and collapsed in terror.
  • Feng Ye joined Garp, Dragon, and Shanks in the clearing, and Shanks welcomed him while Garp praised his attack on the Holy Land.
  • Feng Ye made himself a liquor bowl from earth, shaping and firing it with his powers before joining the others for a drink.
  • Shanks asked whether Feng Ye was a god, and Feng Ye said he was merely a slightly stronger human.

Ch. 453'Bandit King' and Luffy

Dragon asked Feng Ye to help the Revolutionary Army overthrow the Celestial Dragons, but Feng Ye refused to intervene in the changing of governments. A bandit named Higuma then confronted Shanks and Luffy, and Garp prepared to act after revealing his Marine rank.

  • Dragon asked Feng Ye to support the Revolutionary Army, but Feng Ye refused, warning that future governments could become corrupt and saying Dragon must bring change about himself.
  • Feng Ye said he would not support the World Government either and confirmed that he had destroyed Golden Lion.
  • Higuma brought Luffy to Shanks and demanded compensation for wine spilled on his clothes; after Shanks apologized, Higuma smashed a bottle over him and demanded one million Beli at gunpoint.
  • Feng Ye declined to get involved in what he called Marine work and walked toward Robin as Higuma aimed his musket at him.
  • A Marine brought Garp his coat, and Garp put on his Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral's coat and stood up with a dark expression.

Ch. 454A Bounty Poster

Garp defeated Higuma and tried to keep Luffy from taking Shanks's Straw Hat, but the hat returned to Luffy the next day. Later, Higuma was brought to a Marine base, where seeing Feng Ye's enormous bounty poster left him stunned.

  • Garp knocked Higuma down and crushed the bandits with a shower of stone fragments.
  • Shanks gave Luffy his Straw Hat before leaving, and Garp failed to keep Luffy from holding onto it.
  • Garp eventually threw the hat into the sea, but it reappeared on Luffy's head the next day.
  • Feng Ye watched Luffy and reflected on the pursuit of freedom, while Robin asked about his troubles and he promised to tell her another time.
  • Marines escorted Higuma to a branch base, where he recognized Feng Ye on a bounty poster showing a 3,248,200,000 Beli reward.

Ch. 455Pursuing Feng Ye

Feng Ye left Foosha Village and trained Robin to use Chakra to swim despite her Devil Fruit weakness. Meanwhile, Hancock sailed into the East Blue to find Feng Ye, determined to pursue him despite not knowing where he was.

  • Feng Ye considered creating a life from the God Tree and wondered whether it could use Time Jump with him, but Robin misunderstood his meaning.
  • Feng Ye and Robin trained in the sea, where Robin used Chakra to move despite her Devil Fruit ability being sealed.
  • Feng Ye swam with Robin until she ran low on Chakra, then carried her back aboard the ship.
  • Hancock and the Kuja Pirates entered the East Blue, and Hancock ordered them to sail forward in search of Feng Ye.
  • Hancock imagined traveling with and marrying Feng Ye, then clenched her fist after Robin came to mind.

Ch. 456Hancock's Trouble

Hancock’s search for Feng Ye led her into a clash with the Marines in the East Blue, where Vice Admiral Momousagi overwhelmed her in battle. Feng Ye arrived just as Momousagi prepared to unleash her full strength, stopped her sword with a finger, and halted the cannonballs around the ships.

  • Hancock refused the World Government’s Shichibukai invitation and traveled through the East Blue, where the Marines launched an operation against her.
  • Hancock fought Momousagi aboard a Marine warship while Amazon Lily’s ship battled three Marine warships.
  • Momousagi gained the upper hand, but Hancock’s resolve briefly strengthened her Haki as she refused to surrender.
  • Feng Ye reached through a black fissure, flicked Momousagi’s sword aside, and stepped onto the battlefield.
  • Feng Ye stopped the cannonballs in midair, gathered and detonated them overhead, then asked Hancock why she had come to the East Blue.

Ch. 457Hancock's Growth

Feng Ye stopped the Marines from attacking the Kuja Pirates and reunited with Hancock. After the Marines withdrew, he returned with Hancock to her ship, where her warriors repaired the damage.

  • Feng Ye told Momousagi that the Kuja Pirates were under his command and asked the Marines to move aside.
  • Momousagi ordered the warships to withdraw, obeying the World Government’s directive and avoiding a clash with Feng Ye.
  • Momousagi asked Feng Ye what he wanted the world to become, and he replied that it should become what it should before disappearing with Hancock.
  • Feng Ye and Hancock appeared aboard the Kuja Pirates’ ship, where the warriors recognized him as Hancock’s benefactor and the world’s strongest man.
  • Hancock ordered the warriors to repair the ship, then softened her imposing manner and spoke tenderly to Feng Ye.

Ch. 458Three's Company

Hancock joined Feng Ye’s journey after he agreed to take her along, and he moved Amazon Lily near Wano Country before returning to the Ohara with her. The chapter ended with Hancock and Robin meeting again aboard the ship.

  • Hancock told Feng Ye she had recklessly searched the East Blue to find him and asked to travel with him.
  • Feng Ye agreed to take Hancock along, while Sandersonia and Marygold remained to manage Amazon Lily and received a glass sphere to call him for help.
  • Feng Ye asked whether Amazon Lily could move near Wano Country, then uprooted the entire island and relocated it near the Calm Belt.
  • Feng Ye returned to the Ohara through a rift with Hancock, where Robin greeted her warmly.

Ch. 459Five Years

During four years of travel across the Four Seas, Feng Ye balanced the rivalry between Hancock and Robin while the New World remained largely peaceful. Five years after leaving Wano Country, the Ohara completed its voyage through the Four Seas and returned to the Grand Line by way of Reverse Mountain.

  • Hancock and Robin competed through small tricks and rival skills, with Robin using her Flower-Flower Fruit clones and Hancock winning praise for her cooking.
  • Feng Ye balanced the two women's strength by sharing energy and giving Robin extra lessons whenever Hancock pulled ahead.
  • Feng Ye kept Wano's samurai and the islands under his command from invading, while the major New World powers largely maintained their territories.
  • Marine Headquarters reorganized, promoting Kizaru, Aokiji, and Momousagi to Admirals and making Sengoku Fleet Admiral.
  • In the seventeenth year of the Great Pirate Era, the Ohara completed its Four Seas voyage after collecting books and expanding its library.
  • After five years away from Wano Country, Feng Ye and his companions sailed the Ohara through Reverse Mountain and entered the Grand Line again.

Ch. 460Rope Art

Sky Island girls Roya and Nolti discovered an intact Blue Sea ship that had arrived on Angel Island, then were caught by its self-moving ropes. Feng Ye and Robin emerged from the cabin, leaving the girls bound and exhausted on the deck.

  • Roya found an Impact Shell while shoreline foraging, and Nolti threw an ordinary shell into the sea in frustration.
  • The shell caused a huge impact that revealed a ship stranded on Angel Island, and Roya and the other girls decided to explore it.
  • Roya used an Island Cloud shell to make a ramp, and the girls climbed aboard the apparently deserted ship.
  • When Nolti approached the cabin, ropes shot out, captured all six girls, and hung them beneath the sail.
  • Feng Ye came out of the cabin and ordered the ropes to release the girls, then he and Robin observed them on the deck.

Ch. 461God Enel

Feng Ye and his companions explored Sky Island after arriving, with Roya and the other girls guiding them. Meanwhile, Enel learned of the Blue Sea visitors and sensed a powerful presence, setting his sights on them.

  • Feng Ye returned Roya and the other Sky Island girls to shore, then joined Hancock and Robin to admire Sky Island.
  • Robin paid Roya and the others with jewels, accepted their gifts of shells, and Feng Ye agreed to let them guide the group.
  • A White Beret lookout reported the Blue Sea visitors to Ohm, who prepared to notify others about an execution.
  • Enel stopped Ohm, sensed a powerful presence among the visitors, and vanished in a crackle of electricity.
