Feng Ye returned to Konoha, supported Orochimaru’s choice about becoming Hokage, and hurried to the eastern frontline after learning Rin had been captured. Rin discovered Kirigakure had sealed the Three-Tails inside her and prevented her from taking her own life, leaving her helpless as the Mist Shinobi prepared to send her toward Konoha.

• News of Feng Ye’s return shook Konoha, and Hiruzen Sarutobi called an internal meeting with Danzo and the elders.
• Feng Ye gave Orochimaru Rasa’s blood and promised to support him if he still wanted to become Hokage.
