Yan and Hua Song hit it off at first sight. After Yan became the boss and accepted tribute from his little brother, and after they had eaten and drunk their fill, the two headed to the teaching building to take care of business.

Tiandu Academy's teaching building was tall and grand. When they arrived at its entrance, they saw a troublesome scene: dozens of students had gathered there, most of them whispering among themselves.

Hua Song said softly from the side, "Boss, it looks like something's going on here. Should we take a look?"

Yan nodded. "A little excitement would be nice. Good way to walk off a meal."

Hua Song nodded in agreement. The two made their way into the crowd, and before long, a black steed came into view.

Yan was no stranger to the Black Steed. It was the horse Lei Xiang had bought, the one that had nearly killed someone. He glanced at it casually and smiled. "That horse belongs to Lei Xiang. That kid has probably already come to the teaching building. But it looks like he's gotten himself into trouble."

"Lei Xiang's horse is quite something. A tall horse with a build like that is rare."

Hua Song seemed rather knowledgeable about horses and casually appraised it. Quite a few people nearby were talking as well, so the two of them did not stand out in the crowd.

At that moment, a quiet-looking girl actually gathered the courage to walk over. She extended her delicate hand, wanting to touch the horse's head, and said, "Hello, little black horse. Do you have an owner? Can I pet you?"

The Black Steed was initially a little bewildered, then it let out an angry neigh. Its front
