The Snow Region was beautiful, its snow-capped mountains soaring into the clouds and its sky glittering like sapphire, without a trace of pollution.
Yan had lived several lives, yet this was still his first time visiting the Snow Region. Familiar yet strange, this ordinary world, utterly different from the scenery of other worlds, truly captivated him.
At the foot of the snow mountains stretched a flat grassland, where yaks grazed on the green grass. Majestic snow mountains, an azure sky, perfect clouds, and a vibrant prairie—it all left one feeling refreshed and at peace.
Though this was merely a parallel universe with the backdrop of Blue Star, the era he missed so dearly still deeply immersed Yan in nostalgia and gave him a little more patience to wait for Qi Yue.
When he had caught up with Qi Yue earlier, he happened upon the fellow awakening his Qilin Power. After observing for a while, he could not be bothered to trouble this chosen son of fortune at that moment. Instead, he came ahead of time to wait at the train's final stop.
When the direct train finally arrived at its destination, it was around nine o'clock at night. Qi Yue, who had awakened, and Shui Yue, the girl he had met during the journey, got off separately.
Just as they were about to part ways, Qi Yue suddenly stared blankly at a certain spot, blinking and shaking his head repeatedly, utterly unable to believe that what he saw was real.
"Qi Yue, I've been waiting for you for a long time. You little brat really made me work to find you!"
Yan's voice entered his ears. Qi Yue, frozen in place, shuddered and looked as timid as if he had been scared stupid. Anyone
