Background / History

Chairman Chen became a celebrated combat hero after turning the tide during a monster invasion and saving a city. His successful S3 resonance and martial-arts reputation made him one of Qing'an Province's most respected Espers. 3 6 18

He initially reacted with anger and disappointment when Chen Ye chose a C-class hero talent rather than attempting S3. Despite this, he used his connections to secure Chen Ye admission to Magic City Martial University, demonstrating that his concern for his son outweighed his pride. 3 11

While Chen Ye operated under the identity of Long Aotian, Chairman Chen received the disguised youth warmly but quickly identified the use of the Light Body Technique by examining his shoulder blade. He continued investigating Long Aotian while recognizing that the mysterious expert was helping Chen Ye. 63 65
