Beyond the barrier of the Nine Heavens, at the end of the Ninety-Nine Stone Steps, stood an enormous altar. Upon it was an open Stone Gate.

After the sacred giant palace King Pangu had used to smash the Ninety-Nine Stone Steps shattered, it too revealed a mysterious altar, upon which stood a Stone Gate—but this one was tightly shut.

King Pangu carried the Divine Palace as he tore through the sky. Like a comet striking the earth, he crashed into the Ninety-Nine Stone Steps, causing both the giant palace and the steps to collapse at once.

Mountain-sized boulders continually fell toward the Nine Provinces, pounding the earth until it shook violently. Endless black clouds churned and spread in every direction, mysterious and sinister.

"King Pangu, you are courting death!"

Lu Zhan and the other two Stone Person Kings were all enraged, losing the composure and calm expected of Ancestors. The three Kings rose against the heavens.

King Pangu personally descended into battle, wielding power truly capable of splitting heaven and earth. The enormous stone axe trembled, its blade vibrating at extreme frequency. Streaks of axe-light swept in every direction like lightning, eventually joining into a single expanse that sealed off the skies of the Nine Provinces.

The three Stone Person Kings either unleashed Divine Laws or swept out peerless combat power, shaking the imprisoned sky. Yet none of them could face King Pangu's edge head-on.

He had once been the foremost of the six Kings of the Nine Provinces' Origin, an incarnation born from Emperor Pangu's primordial spirit before ancient times. Beneath the Emperors, he was nearly invincible.
