The Situation Has Changed

During the days the Siren Assault Team rested on Sun Island, Jiezena took the time to capture two living Dark Faceless Warriors in the Outer Sea beyond Sun Island Bay.

Miss Tiffany had also contributed to the operation to capture the Faceless Warriors alive. Because she had sealed the severely wounded Faceless Warriors inside icebergs, the Griffon Cavalry had been able to drag the two creatures back to Sun Island Bay.

The two dying Faceless Warriors were now piled up in the shallow waters around Sun Island.

Roy stood waist-deep in the sea, looking at the two enormous things before him that looked like giant lumps of shit. They had faced more than two hundred Siren Warriors in single combat in these shallows. Now Jiezena was preparing to dissect them on the spot so the Siren Warriors could learn which parts of a Faceless Warrior's body were its weak points.

The surrounding beach was packed with Siren Warriors watching the demonstration, at least three or four thousand of them.

Jiezena stood atop one Faceless Warrior's head, holding a Long-Handled Cleaver.

The Faceless Warrior's breathing was extremely faint, and its body trembled violently. It had completely lost the ability to resist.

Its four enormous tentacles still struggled hopelessly. The last of its ink had drained away, and its tentacles hung like a pool of rotten mud...

Its two small eyes remained fixed on Jiezena as it continuously sucked seawater mixed with fine sand into its belly, then weakly spat it back out.
