A Siren Warrior more than ten meters tall stood in front of Roy, her six blue-scaled arms blocking the Faceless Overlord's full-force strike.

The Siren Warrior leaned backward and threw her head up, spraying blood into the night sky where hail kept crashing down.

Two enormous tentacles coiled around the Siren Warrior, twisting her body into the shape of a wrung-out rope. Her eyes had gone unfocused, and blood streamed endlessly from her mouth.

Her body began to crack apart...

Heavy rain fell over the surrounding sea, yet only this area was swept by a blizzard. The hail crashing down from the sky landed on the Faceless Overlord and the Siren Warrior, rapidly freezing into a layer of ice crystals.

The gale howled...

Just as the Siren Warrior was about to be strangled to death by the Faceless Overlord, Great Mage Greimus chanted another spell.

The Water Elemental suddenly extended two massive hands that had frozen solid...

It bent down and gripped the Faceless Overlord's tentacles with its powerful hands. Ice crystals swiftly covered the tentacles and began spreading toward the Faceless Overlord's body.

Several more tentacles emerged from the Faceless Overlord's body, thrashing wildly around it.

Just as those tentacles reached toward the Water Elemental, the Faceless Overlord's body began trembling violently. It was as though something inside it was charging wildly from side to side, forcing it to stop and divert part of its strength to fight whatever was within.

At that moment, the body of the tentacle-bound Siren Warrior dissolved, revealing her original form.
