Ch. 801802. Night

Roy investigated the Dwarf Treasure’s possible location in the Lost Sea and asked Tiffany to investigate the sea demons who had captured her. He connected the incident to a wider slave-trading chain and continued questioning imprisoned Gray Dwarf Bandits the next morning.

  • Roy questioned Doyle, who suggested Captain Relf’s treasure might be hidden near Esperance Island by the Lost Sea, then sent Doyle back to the dungeon.
  • Roy visited Tiffany aboard the Black Pearl and asked her about the sea demons and Relf; she agreed to investigate and immediately dived into the sea.
  • Roy told Sabrina that elves, Relf’s bandits, sea demons, and other groups likely formed a maritime slave-trading chain, and Sabrina kissed his cheek good night.
  • The next morning, Roy questioned the imprisoned Gray Dwarf Bandits, who said Gray Dwarves from nearby small islands sometimes engaged in slave trading.

Ch. 802Captain Relf

Moira’s patrol captured another Gray Dwarf infiltrator, who revealed that the bandits kept risking Kui Island because they believed Relf’s treasure was hidden there. Tiffany returned from Lost Island with news about the siren slave traders and clarified the treasure’s history, leaving Roy to consider how to reach the fog-shrouded Lost Sea.

  • Moira’s patrol captured a lone Gray Dwarf infiltrator on Kui Island, and he admitted the dwarves knew landing there was dangerous but did not want to surrender the island without a fight.
  • Roy concluded from interrogating nearly a hundred Gray Dwarves that they kept infiltrating Kui Island because they believed Relf’s treasure was hidden there.
  • Tiffany returned and told Roy that sirens controlled the Lost Sea, operated as slave traders, and used its dense, windproof fog to lure ships to their deaths.
  • Tiffany warned Roy that Magic Airships could not enter the Lost Sea and recommended waiting for Jiezena before pursuing the sirens.
  • Tiffany explained that sirens, not the Naga Sea Clan, had sunk the ships carrying the Dwarf Treasure, which the Naga now stored in Gomez, and that Relf had hired sirens to capture her tribe as leverage before planning to sell them to the Roland Continent.

Ch. 803Some Matters Concerning Sun Island Bay

Roy returned from Kui Island to Sun Island Bay, where he checked on the siren war and armor deliveries and reunited with Olifu. He agreed to show Olifu around town and took her to Moira's cottage when she asked to spend the night in a treehouse but no rooms were available.

  • Roy left Kui Island in Captain Timothy's care, transported Great Mage Greimus's giant magic ballista bolts to Padesto City, and flew to Sun Island Bay.
  • On the airship, Lia spoke with Octavia about her past in the mines and how Roy had helped change conditions on the Pagisto Plateau.
  • Roy read Commander Tiprado's letters about the siren forces, Jiezena's success as a Sea Beast Priest, and the delivery of the second and third batches of Ring-Style Siren Armor.
  • At the North Coast docks, Roy greeted Olifu and learned from Commander Tiprado that the second armor batch had gone to the Star Sea Islands and half of the third batch had arrived.
  • Olifu told Roy that the Dark Faceless One Legion had received reinforcements and that the sirens had lost their recent advantage in battle.
  • Roy showed Olifu the town; when she asked to stay in a treehouse, he explained its drawbacks, and after finding no vacant rooms, he took her to Moira's seaside cottage.

Ch. 804Sun Island Bay

Roy asked Olifu to secure siren forces to help capture the sirens of the Lost Sea and bring some to trial, then sent her back to Sank Island aboard one of three Magic Airships. He surveyed Sun Island Bay’s defenses and found the Dark Faceless Ones contained, while the northern fjords remained unoccupied by Half-Elf camps.

  • Roy rejected Olifu’s advances and asked her to help him capture the sirens occupying the Lost Sea and have them stand trial.
  • Olifu promised to ask her father to send elite Siren Warriors, then boarded one of three Magic Airships carrying Ring-Style Siren Armor.
  • Roy visited Jiezena and learned that the Dark Faceless Ones were entrenched in an underwater trench, where the Siren Assault Team’s attacks had been repelled.
  • Roy inspected the ring-shaped City Wall and its Highland Slaver guards, praising their work and discipline.
  • Roy found Sun Island Bay quiet and secure, with no Dark Faceless Ones active nearby.
  • Roy learned that Tiprado’s Griffon Cavalry had cleared the northern fjords, which the Half-Elves had not yet settled.

Ch. 805Siren Legion Reinforcing Kui Island

Roy traveled to Sun Island Bay to recruit siren reinforcements for Kui Island, where he planned to investigate a possible Dwarf Treasure near the Lost Sea. Jiezena confronted him over seeking Olifu’s help, then joined the expedition as ten Magic Airships carried four thousand Siren Warriors to Kui Island.

  • Jiezena heard that Olifu had returned with elite Siren Warriors and grew jealous that Olifu might win Roy’s favor.
  • Roy inspected the northern fjord, exchanged knowledge of Holy Seals with Jerome, and later welcomed Olifu and two thousand Siren Warriors at the North Coast docks.
  • Jiezena rushed to Roy and challenged him over asking other siren tribes for help, then kissed him and agreed to join the mission to the Lost Sea.
  • Roy and Jiezena gathered four thousand Siren Warriors and traveled with them aboard ten Magic Airships through Padesto City’s Teleportation Portal to Kui Island.
  • Half-Elf guards surrounded the clearing and aimed their bows at the arriving airships, then dispersed after all ten landed beside the pier.

Ch. 806Slave Ship

Roy’s fleet set out for the Lost Sea and captured four Gray Dwarf ships, discovering that they were slave ships carrying imprisoned Naga Sea Clan members. Roy freed one captive and gave the Nagas two hours to rescue their companions and leave.

  • Gray Dwarf Bandits sneaked onto Kui Island while Roy’s forces were away, as Moira and Captain Tennyson discussed the island’s defenses and Roy’s plans for dealing with slave traders.
  • The Half-Elves and Highland Slavers continued building Kui Island’s Great Sea Embankment while the fleet sailed toward the Lost Sea.
  • Sabrina’s Griffon Cavalry spotted four Gray Dwarf Three-Masted Sailboats, burned their sails, and helped the Magic Airships and Sirens capture the ships and their crews.
  • Roy arrived aboard the captured lead ship and learned from Walker that imprisoned Naga Sea Clan members were held in its Bottom Cabin.
  • Roy cut a Naga’s restraints, healed him with Holy Light Art, and gave him two hours to free his companions before leaving.

Ch. 807808 Lost Sea

Roy freed more than 3,800 Naga Sea Clan slaves and seized four Three-Masted Sailboats from Gray Dwarf slave traders. After executing one captain and forcing the others to guide him, he gathered information about the Lost Sea, but its sirens’ method of navigating the fog remained unknown.

  • Jiezena told the Naga Sea Clan slaves that Roy had taken over the ships, and Roy’s forces freed them and directed them toward Gomez City.
  • Roy told the Naga Sea Clan members that his Half-Elf Mine Guard Army had come to retrieve something from the Lost Sea and would soon leave the Endless Sea.
  • Roy questioned the four Gray Dwarf Captains, learned they were taking Nagas to sell in the Lost Sea, and ordered them to guide him.
  • Walker beheaded a Gray Dwarf Captain who refused Roy’s order, and the remaining three agreed to cooperate.
  • Roy’s Half-Elf sailors repaired the captured ships while their crews shackled the Gray Dwarf Bandits below deck.
  • Roy learned from the first mates and Second Mates that sirens guided slave ships through the Lost Sea’s fog, but Jiezena dismissed Olifu’s suggestion that they navigated by song.

Ch. 808Lost Island 2

Roy led his fleet through the fog-covered Lost Sea using Captain Relf’s treasure map and Siren guides, reaching the island where Relf’s treasure was believed to be hidden. The island’s inhabitants gathered at the dock and mistook the ships for a slave vessel.

  • Roy entered the Lost Sea with four Three-Masted Sailboats, Half-Elf guards, human Priests, and Siren Warriors led by Jiezena and Olifu.
  • Miss Tiffany showed Roy how the Sirens navigated beneath the fog, and Roy realized Captain Relf’s Treasure Map depicted the seabed and marked an island he had occupied.
  • Jiezena guided the fleet along the route on the map, and she told a Siren patrol that Captain Relf had hired them to retrieve his belongings.
  • The fleet reached the island’s natural deepwater harbor on the third day, where its inhabitants gathered and asked what slaves the arriving ship carried.

Ch. 809Island Conflict

Roy and the Half-Elf crew arrived at Lepsterton Island, where a confrontation with Gray Dwarf Bandits escalated into a fight at the dock. After the Penguin Owl Beast imposed the island’s rules, Roy demanded that the Gray Dwarves surrender every Half-Elf slave on the island, then headed into town when they refused.

  • Roy and the Half-Elves landed at Lepsterton Island, paid the berthing fee, and faced threats from the islanders and Gray Dwarves.
  • Sabrina threw a lizardfolk hunter into the sea after he attacked her, while Gray Dwarves gathered to confront the Half-Elves over their captured captain and ship.
  • Captain Rodehart mocked the Gray Dwarves, who charged the Half-Elf guards and were driven back by their shield wall, spears, and divine blessings.
  • Roy halted the fight and challenged the Gray Dwarves’ objections, arguing that Half-Elves could trade Gray Dwarf slaves just as Gray Dwarves traded Elf slaves.
  • The Penguin Owl Beast invoked the island’s rules and offered trade or a slave exchange as a way to recover captives.
  • Roy demanded every Half-Elf slave on the island, rejected the Gray Dwarf Bandit’s refusal, and led the Half-Elves toward the town.

Ch. 810Plusterston Island

Roy led the Half-Elf guards into Plusterston Island to investigate its Gray Dwarves and find Relf’s treasure, while Jiezena and Olifu separately questioned a local siren about Relf. The group learned that the Gray Dwarves controlled the island’s trade and that Relf’s land was protected by the Siren Legion, but they did not discover its location.

  • Roy entered the fog-covered town with the Half-Elf guards, and the Penguin Owl Beast kept the Gray Dwarves from pursuing them.
  • Roy persuaded the fishman Boss to give him a room and information, learning that the Gray Dwarves dominated the island and that the Slave Market was down the street.
  • The fishman Boss said the Gray Dwarves had recently brought mostly Naga slaves and that the siren lords protected the Gray Dwarves after receiving protection fees.
  • Jiezena and Olifu met a powerful male siren, who said he knew Relf and claimed Relf had disappeared seven or eight years earlier.
  • Olifu asked where Relf’s land was, but the male siren refused to reveal its location and warned that it was protected by the Siren Legion.

Ch. 811Slave Market

Olifu and Jiezena met the sheriff Ouling at a tavern and learned that he helped the Gray Dwarves run a slave market. Meanwhile, Roy led the Half-Elf guards into the market and confronted a Gray Dwarf trader, leaving the fate of the Elf Slaves unresolved.

  • Ouling invited Olifu and Jiezena to a tavern, where they saw Naga mermaid maids wearing slave collars.
  • Olifu told Ouling they had come to investigate Relf, a slave trader, and challenged his cooperation with the Gray Dwarves.
  • Ouling warned Olifu and Jiezena that they were enemies, but Jiezena’s cold stare unsettled him.
  • Roy and Sabrina headed for the Slave Market with the Half-Elf guards, while Gray Dwarves and members of the Mutated Sea Clan fled from their path.
  • Roy entered the Slave Market, saw the enslaved elves and Nagas, and asked a Gray Dwarf trader how much the Elf Slaves cost.

Ch. 812Transaction

Roy bought nearly two hundred Elf Slaves from the Gray Dwarf Slave Traders at the Slave Market, paying market prices and treating an injured child’s wounds. He led the freed elves toward the docks to board his ship and return to Kui Island.

  • Roy inspected the Half-Elf, Wood Elf, and Silver Moon Elf captives and bought all the Elf Slaves from one Gray Dwarf Slave Trader for fifty Magic Crystal Stones.

  • Roy led the Elf Slaves out of the market as Half-Elf guards protected them and encouraged them toward the docks.

Ch. 813Street Bloodbath

Roy bought every elf slave in the Plusterston Island market and led them into the fog, where a Gray Dwarf warrior ambushed the procession. Roy and Sabrina fought her, and Sabrina struck the warrior’s neck armor, leaving the battle unresolved.

  • Wendy watched elven guards enter the slave market and saw Roy buy every elf slave without picking and choosing.
  • A Half-Elf Guard Captain told the freed slaves they would need to work to repay their ransom, and the guards led them out of the market.

Ch. 816Street Bloodbath 4

Jiezena and Olifu fought Ouling in the tavern after Gray Dwarves rushed out to battle Half-Elves. Ouling blasted Jiezena into the street, but Jiezena survived behind a phantom’s protection while Olifu reappeared beside her as Ouling remained dazed.

  • Jiezena attacked Ouling when the sheriff blocked her from leaving, and Olifu summoned an evil eye that filled the tavern with a Cloud of Slumber.
  • Ouling resisted the sleep mist, froze off Olifu’s Ice Shield, and attacked her, but the Olifu she seized shattered as a mirror-image phantom.
  • Jiezena struck Ouling with her manifested arms and weapons, but Ouling transformed and battered her through the tavern wall with a barrage of punches.
  • Jiezena sat injured in the foggy street, protected by a Six-Armed Siren phantom, while Olifu escaped the collapsing tavern.
