Robbing the Pirate Group

A battle had broken out near an abandoned space transit station.

The abandoned space transit station served as the hideout of a pirate group called the Sea Wolf Pirate Group.

The Sea Wolf Pirate Group often ran rampant across the overlapping territories of many small nations. They possessed formidable firepower, and many small nations greatly feared them.

The Mika Subaru Nation had currently deployed quite a few GM Mobile Suits. In terms of MS performance, the GM Mobile Suit outperformed every type of MS used by the Sea Wolf Pirate Group.

However, the Mika'ang Nation's total number of MS was far inferior to that of the Sea Wolf Pirate Group.

This meant that even after improving its national military strength, the Mika'ang Nation still did not dare move against the Sea Wolf Pirate Group.

Why did so many small nations not join forces to eliminate the Sea Wolf Pirate Group?

The main reason was that no nation wanted foreign troops entering its territory. Even if it was to eliminate criminal organizations such as pirates or terrorists, no nation would invite another country to send troops in. Unexpectedly, not long after the Skywing Mercenary Group expanded its business, the first route escorted by its Escort Fleet happened to pass through the Sea Wolf Pirate Group's hunting grounds. As a result, they were robbed by the Sea Wolf Pirate Group on their very first outing.

Over the past few months, the Skywing Mercenary Group had been responsible for escorting cargo ships and had often encountered pirate attacks, but they had beaten every one of them badly. This had made the members of the Skywing Mercenary Group extremely confident.

Meanwhile, the Sea Wolf Pirate Group had long been used to throwing its weight around.

The two sides immediately clashed.

The Skywing Mercenary Group had only two Escort Ships and eight GM Mobile Suits, while the Sea Wolf Pirate Group had six modified spacecraft and more than seventy MS of various types.

In the end, the Skywing Mercenary Group was completely wiped out while badly outnumbered. Although the Sea Wolf Pirate Group won, it was a costly victory, leaving them with only four modified spacecraft and fifteen surviving MS.

After news of the escort fleet's annihilation reached headquarters, the entire Skywing Mercenary Group was enraged.

Long Fei was furious over the incident.

In order to uncover the Sea Wolf Pirate Group's hideout, he spent a considerable amount of money pulling strings and purchasing intelligence.

Long Fei had also developed quite a few new Gundams and other equipment, which could now be deployed on the battlefield.

Under Li Jiaming's arrangements, the Skywing Mercenary Group turned down many commissions and assembled numerous forces, preparing to swallow the Sea Wolf Pirate Group whole in one strike.

Furthermore, the intelligence they received stated that the Sea Wolf Pirate Group possessed a vast amount of looted goods and assets.

Thus, when Long Fei gave the order to eliminate the Sea Wolf Pirate Group, he had another objective as well: robbing the Pirate Group.

Long Fei participated in this operation as well, piloting the newly developed FA78-3/HFA78-3, the Full Armor Gundam and the Heavy Full Armor Gundam. The latter mainly featured added armor and backpack weapon components, and Long Fei named it Proto Gundam Unit 7.

Having located the Sea Wolf Pirate Group's hideout, they launched a direct assault without any warning.

They caught the Sea Wolf Pirate Group completely off guard in a short time.

However, the Sea Wolf Pirate Group was still an old-established pirate group. Though the sudden attack caught them unprepared at first, under their leader Zoshan Taro's command, the Sea Wolf Pirate Group launched an orderly counterattack.

In addition to twenty Escort Ships, Long Fei's side also had an MS Carrier, the Pegasus-class assault landing ship Albion. Its design differed somewhat from that in Gundam 0083. It was 405 meters long, could carry thirty MS, and contained four Super Energy Reactors designed for this warship, serving for the time being as substitutes for the as-yet undeveloped thermonuclear reactors intended for warships.

To design and develop this Pegasus-class assault landing ship Albion, Long Fei had made many modifications. It had originally been an MS Carrier with an entirely Energy Type weapon system, but because thermonuclear reactors could not yet be developed, he replaced many laser turrets with solid-shell turrets. Other than retaining the main Mega Particle Cannon, Long Fei directly named this newly developed MS Carrier the Albion Aircraft Carrier.

Long Fei's side could deploy only 110 MS.

The Sea Wolf Pirate Group had more than sixty modified spacecraft of various types, over one thousand MS of various types, and nearly one hundred fighter craft.

The disparity in numbers between the two sides was immense.

A young black-haired woman piloted Proto Gundam Unit 4. Both hands gripping the controls, she pressed the button to fire the Mega Particle Cannon at the enemies ahead on the screen.

A black-haired woman who bore a seventy-percent resemblance to the black-haired woman piloting Proto Gundam Unit 4 was controlling Proto Gundam Unit 5 as she hurried to support Proto Gundam Unit 4.

The two similar-looking women were sisters. They had once been retired MS pilots from the Hanxia Nation and had served under Li Jiaming. The elder sister was Zhou Ya, while the younger sister was Zhou Na. They were one year apart.

Later, when they retired and had nothing to do, they happened to receive a message from their former superior, Li Jiaming.

After learning that their former superior Li Jiaming had retired and become the commander of a private mercenary group, and since the sisters had nothing to do anyway, they decided to join the Skywing Mercenary Group to pass the time.

When the sisters first joined the Skywing Mercenary Group, they had not expected a private armed organization to possess such advanced MS. Thanks to their former superior's recommendation, they also had the chance to pilot Proto Gundam Unit 4 and Proto Gundam Unit 5.

The MS known as Gundams made the sisters unstoppable on the battlefield. The sisters had originally intended to simply coast through life in the Skywing Mercenary Group, but the powerful Gundam MS rekindled their old passion. Combined with the Skywing Mercenary Group's generous compensation, the sisters decided to pledge their loyalty to the Skywing Mercenary Group.

Zhou Na controlled Proto Gundam Unit 5 to arrive beside her sister's Proto Gundam Unit 4, then pressed the Gatling machine gun activation button. The Gatling spun rapidly, bullets spraying out like torrential rain. A sweeping burst riddled the enemy MS and fighter craft approaching the two sisters with holes.

For the MS and fighter craft that had not been blown apart by the Gatling, Zhou Ya controlled Proto Gundam Unit 4, wielded a Beam Rifle, gripped the controls, and pressed the firing button to finish them off.

The younger sister swept through them while the elder sister finished them off. In one round, they blew up nearly forty enemy MS and ten fighter craft.

In the command room, Sea Wolf Pirate Group leader Zoshan Taro watched the current situation on the battlefield with an extremely grim expression.

"I didn't expect the Gundams to be even more powerful than the rumors said."

"Commander, several locations have reported MS resembling Gundams," the reporting officer said nervously.

Zoshan Taro watched the scenes of several other Gundams fighting on the screen.

"Where are the other fleets now? How long until they return?"
