Oni Yasha's full-body armor suddenly cracked open in several places, red line-like gas streaming from the fissures.

Li Xiucheng and the Zhou Ya Sisters watched the changes in Black Yaksha. Though they did not know what was happening, their years of combat experience gave them a bad feeling.
Zoshan Taro looked at the data on the screen to his left. Oni Yasha's overall performance was rapidly increasing, and the words "Enhanced Performance" appeared above Oni Yasha's icon.
The cockpit computer also began running rapid calculations. The power system, thrusters, and everything else were operating at full speed.
"Let's see just how powerful this enhanced performance function is."
Oni Yasha instantly charged toward Proto Gundam Thunderbolt.
"So fast."
Oni Yasha instantly rushed before Proto Gundam Thunderbolt.
Oni Yasha instantly drew its Beam Saber and swept it toward Proto Gundam Thunderbolt's waist.
Proto Gundam Thunderbolt raised its Beam Saber to block.
"What?!" Li Xiucheng cried out. Alarms blared in the cockpit, and the data showed that the enemy MS's output far surpassed his. The Gundam's arm output load was nearing its limit.
The Zhou Ya Sisters immediately moved in to assist.
Black Yaksha immediately kicked Proto Gundam Thunderbolt away, then instantly evaded the two Gundams' fire.
"Damn it, it's too fast. We can't target it at all."
"Damn it, what kind of MS is that? It's practically cheating."
If Li Xiucheng had not been securely strapped in when Proto Gundam Thunderbolt was kicked away, he would have been thrown around inside the cockpit.
Even so, his chest felt painfully tight.
Li Xiucheng endured the discomfort in his chest, immediately stabilized his Gundam, and rushed to support his companions.
Black Yaksha charged before Proto Gundam Unit 4 and brought its Beam Saber down from above. Proto Gundam Unit 4 used its Beam Saber to block.
"Damn it, I'm completely being suppressed."
The younger sister immediately rushed over to rescue her older sister.
Proto Gundam Unit 5 swung its Beam Saber at Black Yaksha's other side.
Black Yaksha drew another Beam Saber with its other hand and blocked Proto Gundam Unit 5's incoming strike.
"How is that possible?!" ×2
The two sisters cried out at the same time.
Black Yaksha held a Beam Saber in each hand, blocking the combined assault of the two Gundams.
What shocked the two girls even more was that their two Gundams were actually being suppressed by their opponent.
Black Yaksha suddenly sidestepped backward as a Beam Ray sliced through the spot where it had just been.
Li Xiuming had arrived to provide support.
Black Yaksha drove its thrusters at full power, rapidly charging before Proto Gundam Thunderbolt before instantly circling behind it.
"Die."
Black Yaksha slashed in an X-shape with its two Beam Sabers.
Fortunately, Proto Gundam Thunderbolt had a pair of shield attachments that temporarily blocked the Beam Sabers, allowing Li Xiuming to escape at once.
The pair of shields was cut in half. Li Xiuming pressed a button and jettisoned the remaining half-shields.
The Zhou Ya Sisters arrived only then.
"That speed and agility are way too fast."
"A mere Pirate Group actually has such an advanced MS."
"It's coming."
The three of them focused with all their might, not daring to make the slightest mistake.
Black Yaksha transformed into a red meteor as it rapidly charged toward the three Gundams, able to change directions in an instant.
The three Gundams were suppressed so badly that they could not look after one another.
Proto Gundam Unit 4 had its left leg cut off, Unit 5 had its right arm severed, while Thunderbolt had all of its attached weapons destroyed.
The captain's sudden advantage should have greatly boosted the other pirates' morale. Unfortunately, several other Gundams had already charged into their ranks and begun slaughtering them, leaving many of them unaware of their captain's current situation.
Zoshan Taro, who held the upper hand, wore an excited expression. Just as he prepared to destroy several Gundams, an alarm suddenly sounded. Seeing a Beam Ray shooting down at him from above, he immediately moved the controls and evaded it.
He saw another Gundam charging toward him.
"Hey, hey, hey, isn't that brat being a little too overconfident?"
GP01 Gundam Zephyranthes charged toward Oni Yasha with a shield in one hand and a Beam Saber in the other.
Like before, Black Yaksha charged toward Gundam White Orchid like a red meteor. As it closed in before its opponent, it instantly circled behind it and prepared to deliver a killing blow.
Li Xiucheng and the others wanted to provide support, but they were too far away, and the two MS were too close together. The three of them did not dare fire.
They could only watch helplessly as their companion was about to be killed by the enemy.
Yet what happened next nearly made all three of their eyes pop out.
The instant Black Yaksha circled behind Gundam White Orchid, Gundam White Orchid moved as well. It spun around and swept its Beam Saber toward Black Yaksha's cockpit.
Black Yaksha had to use one Beam Saber to block the strike. Gundam White Orchid fired its head-mounted 60mm Vulcan Cannons, disrupting the opponent's screen in an instant, then used its shield to block the other Beam Saber before lifting a leg and kicking Black Yaksha's cockpit.
Fortunately, Black Yaksha's cockpit was sturdy enough. Otherwise, Zoshan Taro inside would have been flattened by that kick.
Zoshan Taro was utterly bewildered. He thought the enhanced performance function had stopped, but when he checked, it still had one minute remaining.
"That guy just got lucky." Zoshan Taro believed he had merely made a momentary mistake and immediately charged at Gundam White Orchid.
The battle that followed left Zoshan Taro staring with his mouth open.
As the two MS engaged in close combat, they crossed past each other again and again, yet neither side managed to defeat the other.
Cold sweat continuously dripped down Zoshan Taro's forehead. The more they fought, the more terrified he became. He did not dare imagine how badly he would die if his enhanced performance function ended.
Gundam White Orchid suddenly retreated to the side.
Zoshan Taro had no idea what was happening. Then he saw a ray of light before his screen, while even fiercer alarms blared within the cockpit. The light before the screen grew larger and larger.
He realized he had been locked on and could not evade it, so he could only immediately fire Black Yaksha's right shoulder Particle Cannon.
The two beams collided.
Alarms sounded inside the cockpit, informing Zoshan Taro that Black Yaksha's Particle Cannon thrust was inferior to the opponent's. The incoming beam had already broken through his Particle Cannon.
Zoshan Taro immediately worked the controls, making Black Yaksha dodge to the side. The enormous beam swept past him, but its terrifying heat melted the Particle Cannon on Black Yaksha's right shoulder, along with part of the armor there.
A chill ran down Zoshan Taro's back. If he had reacted even a little slower, he would definitely have been swallowed by that powerful beam. Checking Black Yaksha's status on the adjacent screen, he saw that its right shoulder was damaged and its responsiveness had weakened.
The alarm blared again.
Gundam White Orchid charged at him once more.
Fortunately, Gundam White Orchid had only one Beam Saber, so he was not put at a disadvantage due to his right shoulder's lack of mobility.
However, after the two sides crossed paths several times in close combat, Black Yaksha's enhanced performance function officially ended.
"This is bad!"
