Mercenary Guild Visits

"Boss, we'll reach our destination in three hours," the announcer in the command center's communication system reported.

"I know," Long Fei replied from his bed.

Long Fei got up, freshened himself, and put on a black and purple trench coat suit.

Long Fei then proceeded to the command center.

"Welcome, Boss," everyone in the command center greeted Long Fei in unison.

Long Fei looked out the window and saw the outline of the colony satellite. He knew they would be entering the colony's port in just over an hour.

Long Fei's fleet had also attracted the attention of the country's military, which dispatched a defense force fleet to investigate. The announcer in the command center immediately transmitted the authorization documents to the flagship of the investigating fleet.

After reviewing the authorization documents, the flagship's captain immediately granted them passage.

"Captain, what country's military is this? I've never seen an MS Carrier like that before," his adjutant asked.

"This isn't any country's military; it's a mercenary group's fleet."

All the military personnel in the command center looked at the captain, their faces displaying expressions of disbelief and impossibility.

"You should have heard of the Sea Wolf Pirate Group. This notorious pirate group, which has been infamous for many years, was wiped out by the mercenary group we see before us. This mercenary group is called the Skywing Mercenary Group."

"Captain, I've heard of the Skywing Mercenary Group. Don't they have an MS called Gundam? I heard they managed to wipe out the Sea Wolf Pirates thanks to that Gundam MS."

"That's right. The MS rumored to be called Gundam is said to have the performance to fight a hundred enemies at once. That white MS Carrier is likely carrying Gundams."

Everyone watched as the Skywing Mercenary Group's fleet entered the colony satellite's port.

Long Fei traveled in his private luxury car.

The Commander traveled in a separate luxury car.

Both luxury cars were escorted by armored vehicles.

They attracted quite a few sideways glances along the way.

The colony satellite had an artificial ocean, and the newly established 7th Sub-base was located next to it, making it a coastal base.

On the way, Long Fei observed the artificial ocean and the 7th Sub-base. Several Universal Ships, which could operate in space, the sky, and at sea, but sacrificed some weaponry to adapt to various environments, were docked at the 7th Sub-base's port.

Mercenaries and GM Mobile Suits were already lined up at the 7th Sub-base, awaiting the arrival of Long Fei and the Commander.

The mercenaries in the front row wore uniforms, while the rest wore combat suits and carried rifles.

As Long Fei, Robina, and the Commander alighted from their vehicles, the assembled mercenaries and GM Mobile Suits saluted them in unison.

"Welcome, Boss and Commander."

Long Fei raised his hand, and the mercenary band and GM Mobile Suits lowered their arms and relaxed.

Colonel Omni, the head of the sub-base, personally greeted Long Fei and Commander Li Jiaming.

"Colonel, you can dismiss the assembled mercenaries and GM Mobile Suits. There's no need for such a ceremony," Long Fei instructed Colonel Omni.

Colonel Omni made a few hand gestures to the assembled mercenaries and GM Mobile Suits, and they all returned to their posts.

As they walked and talked, Colonel Omni reported on upcoming business strategies to Long Fei and Li Jiaming.

"Boss, Commander, there's one more thing I need to report. A representative from the Mercenary Guild is waiting for you both in the reception room."

"Hmph, the Mercenary Guild is quite well-informed. They knew I would be coming here today," Long Fei sneered.

"There's also one more matter that must be reported to you, Boss," Colonel Omni said with a hint of difficulty on his face.

"Go on."

"It's someone from the Long Group. They claim to be a member of your family and wish to discuss something with you. They've booked a dinner for tonight and insist that you attend."

Long Fei frowned, thinking that the Long Family's intelligence network was indeed efficient. They knew he would be coming to this colony satellite, and he could guess that the Long Family was coming for his Gundam.

"Ignore the Long Group for now."

Li Jiaming glanced at Long Fei. He had learned from his nephew that Long Fei's relationship with his Long Family members was very poor.

"Colonel, please lead the way. I want to see what the Mercenary Guild wants with me."

As Long Fei spoke, he glanced at Li Jiaming. Li Jiaming understood and immediately took out a special mobile phone, sending some signals.

Along the way, Long Fei also saw receptionists handling clients, negotiating business with those who came in person.

"Colonel, on the first day the 7th Sub-base opened, we already have so many clients coming to us for escort missions."

"Thanks to the Boss's influence and the Commander's management, the Skywing Mercenary Group now has a very high reputation in many colony nations. Basically, no pirate group dares to attack the cargo ships we escort. Many pirate groups immediately reroute when they see our flag emblem. In the reception room, several people from the Mercenary Guild were present, most of them dressed in black suits. The three main members, however, wore luxurious attire. Sitting on the left was Taiga, a young man with blue hair. Sitting on the right was Gude, a young man with short red hair. In the middle sat Jacob, a middle-aged man with graying hair.

The two young men, despite their youthful appearance, were both over 50 years old.

"The Skywing Mercenary Group's possession of high-performance Gundam MS has allowed them to rise rapidly and snatch business away from many members of our Mercenary Guild," Taiga said, glancing around the reception room.

"Most importantly, the source of the Skywing Mercenary Group's armaments is an arms manufacturing company with the same name, and even more importantly, it's owned by the same boss," Gude said, his gaze drifting towards the middle-aged man.

Jacob kept his eyes closed, resting, without any emotional fluctuation.

"Speaking of which, did you guys see the photos sent by phone earlier?" Taiga asked the other two.

Jacob slowly opened his eyes and nodded.

"Taiga, just say what you want to say."

"What I want to say is that we've gathered quite a bit of intelligence on the Skywing Mercenary Group. Their newly developed warships, especially that white MS Carrier, are equipped with energy-based weapons for everything except missiles. According to my intelligence network, a pirate group, whose name is unknown, tried to hijack a cargo ship they were escorting. They were torn apart at long range by that MS Carrier's beam main cannon, which went straight through both of their modified spacecraft."

Gude looked shocked, while Jacob's brow furrowed.

Although Jacob didn't show the same emotional fluctuations as Ming Yu, his heart was already stirring.

As far as he knew, the white MS Carrier was named Albion. Hearing about the beam firepower of its main cannon, he knew that in many countries, only battleships possessed such powerful beam main cannons. He had never heard of any fighter carrier or MS Carrier possessing a formidable beam main cannon.

Jacob inwardly began to recalculate how to deal with the Skywing Mercenary Group.

At this moment, the doors to the reception hall opened.
