Healing Gel was an emergency medicine developed by Long Fei with reference to Medical Nanomachines.
After Long Fei entered the cockpit of the 0 Gundam, he activated it.
With a beep, the post-battle report came through. Not a single MS on their side had been shot down, though three MS had sustained moderate or lighter damage.
Long Fei was fairly satisfied with that result.
Then, Long Fei and the troops returned to the fleet.
Meanwhile, Soke reported the failed operation to his superior.
"My deepest apologies, Lord Billy."
The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes and demanded that Soke give him a reason.
Soke gave a detailed explanation of how a mysterious force had joined the battle.
"Gundams? I've heard of those super MS rumored to exist in the Sixth District. They say they have the performance to take on a hundred enemies alone. I thought that was exaggerated, but it seems it was true..." Billy muttered to himself as he stroked his chin.
Soke kept his head lowered, not daring to react in any way.
"Soke, the original plan had been thoroughly prepared, yet you still failed. By rights, you should be offering your head in apology. But the sudden intervention of the Gundams was something no one could have anticipated. Your defeat in this battle is understandable."
The weight on Soke's heart lifted by more than half. He had thought that even if he escaped death, his family would still suffer terribly.
Billy continued, "You may be spared from death, but you cannot escape punishment. Soke, I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Find out the origins of the Gundams. Find out who developed them, then come up with a plan to either steal their technology or capture their developer."
"Yes, Lord Billy."
The screen immediately went black.
