Earthguard only held a slight advantage over Dagger, and that tiny edge was far from obvious. Once Lieutenant General Shlaik made a command error, the situation between the two sides would reverse.

Although the United Army's arrival could not inflict much damage on Dagger, it at least caused them plenty of trouble and inconvenience.

The United Army had tied down at least half of an Army-level Fleet from the Dagger Army.

This turned what had been an even split into a six-to-four advantage.

Lieutenant General Shlaik had actually received reinforcements equivalent to an Army-level Fleet, but he had ordered them to activate their Stealth Devices and remain hidden.

Shlaik was keeping a card in reserve. Only if the operation went badly would he commit this reinforcement force to battle.

Lieutenant General Shlaik looked at the three-dimensional tactical display. It contained three colors of markers: cyan represented the Skywing Mercenary Group, red represented the Dion Army, and blue represented the United Army.
