Long Fei rode his heavy motorcycle down the highway, taking in the surroundings as he traveled. Li Xiucheng and the other two special mercenaries each rode their own heavy motorcycles behind him.
Long Fei stopped by the roadside and looked out over the grasslands ahead. Though it was an artificial environment, it was still exceptionally beautiful. He saw several adults herding sheep with bamboo poles, directing the flock, while several children helped return the stray lambs to the herd.
Long Fei watched the herders. They were all one family, happily going about their work together. Looking at that warm scene, he felt as though he were part of it.
"Lieutenant Li, I can hardly believe that the war-torn 7th District Colony still has a country with such peaceful, heartwarming scenes," Special Mercenary A said to Li Xiucheng.
"Yeah. It's practically a paradise cut off from the world."

When they reached a town, Long Fei and his group parked their heavy motorcycles outside a teahouse.
Long Fei and the others entered the teahouse. It was bustling inside, with diners drinking tea, eating small snacks, and chatting.
Every seat in the teahouse was occupied.
A young Black waitress of African descent came over and asked Long Fei's group, "I'm very sorry, guests, but all the seats are full. Would you mind sharing a table with others?"
"That's fine."
"This way, please."
Led by the young waitress, they came to a table with six chairs, where only two Black diners were drinking tea and chatting.
"Gentlemen, would you mind letting other guests use the empty seats?"
"Not at all."
"Welcome, welcome."
