The Cyclops Mobile Armor could also be equipped with four Funnel Sensor Cannons, provided its pilot was a Newtype. Coordinators could instead use two Wire-guided Cannons. The Dion Empire's scientists had developed this technology by drawing inspiration from the MK IV.

As a Captain Unit, the Ogre Mobile Armor could not only equip a wider variety of weapons, but also use twenty Funnel Sensor Cannons, ten Wire-guided Cannons, two chest-mounted Beam Cannons, and fire Mega Diffusion Cannons from its abdomen.

An Ogre Mobile Armor used twenty Funnel Sensor Cannons to shoot down several Val. Valos and Big Rangs in succession.

The Ogre Mobile Armor's all-around combat capabilities allowed it to fight Qubeley and Psycho Gundam Mk II on even terms.

An Ogre and a Qubeley clashed with Beam Sabers in both hands. As they crossed paths and turned around, both fired Diffusion Beam Cannons. Their I-fields and Energy Shields blocked each other's Diffusion Beam Cannon fire.

The Shadow Mad Dog Squad entered the field at this moment, along with the Knight Series MS units.
