Seizing Control of Emasina Base

Besides producing Ink Shadow Saint Machines, Emasina Base also manufactured other units, such as the easiest one to produce: the Salamander.

The Salamander factory had likewise been brought under control, and its production process had likewise been tampered with.

The same had been done at the other arms factories, where the firearms and ammunition being manufactured had also been sabotaged.

This also led the Great Sword Shield Unit to discover the special aboveground and underground structure of Emasina Base. On the surface, its manufactured weapons, units, and so on—so long as they were not special weapons like the Ink Shadow Saint Machine—

would generally be transported along the visible rail lines to their openly designated destinations. Ink Shadow Saint Machines, on the other hand, would be sent through underground tunnels onto secret railways, which delivered the units to designated locations.

Emasina Base was not as simple as it appeared. Aboveground, it looked no different from an ordinary base, but several levels had been constructed underground.

Luolain Silver, this special metal ore, had another use as well. It could be synthesized with certain chemical agents. By refining the residual powder left after extracting Luolain Silver together with certain chemical liquids, a visual cloaking spray could be produced.

However, its effect only worked within an atmosphere. In outer space, its effectiveness would inevitably be greatly reduced, and it would be necessary to use the new-generation stealth particle device developed by Dion Empire scientists.

The visually cloaking chemical spray extracted this way was called Luolain Conceal. The Dion Empire was currently researching whether it could be used on the new individual combat armor under development.
