The Akdila Modified Meteorite opened the Wing Destruction Cannon's built-in Super Laser Cannon ports across all its forward sections. Built-in cannon ports across most of the meteorite also opened, and turrets rose from its surface.
The Wing Destruction Cannon received sufficient energy. Powerful energy had already gathered within its muzzles, merely waiting for the forward defensive Energy Shield to be withdrawn.
After nearly wiping out the enemy Escort Fleet, the Skywing Empire commander directing the encirclement showed no sign of complacency. Instead, he grew even more vigilant.
He believed the Akdila Modified Meteorite's Super Laser Cannon was ready to fire. The commander immediately redeployed his forces, ordering every warship to move beyond the Super Laser Cannon's effective range.
The commander stroked his chin as he considered. "When their Super Laser Cannon sweeps across an area, its effective range is around eight hundred kilometers, but we still don't know its effective range when fired directly."
"A single horizontal sweep from Wing Gundam Zero's Annihilation Cannon has an effective range of around five hundred kilometers, while its direct-fire effective range is around seven hundred kilometers."
"If we infer the direct-fire effective range of this meteorite's Super Laser Cannon, then it should be at least fifteen hundred kilometers." As he thought, the commander held several photographs of the Akdila Modified Meteorite firing its Super Laser Cannon earlier.
