It was the rejection he had expected. Uchiha Gin did not waste any more words. He grabbed the girl and ran out of the research institute without looking back. Uchiha Yan had too much on his hands, so he did not stop them any further.

Along the way, every home was brightly lit. Every Uchiha Clan Member capable of fighting donned armor, took out their most treasured weapons, and strode out of their homes with murderous intent, eager to teach this enemy who did not know their place a lesson.

For a time, fire blazed across the battlefield as bones and blood flew everywhere. Relying on their crazed, life-for-life fighting style, the Kaguya Clan barely managed to stall the battle's momentum. Watching the Kaguya Clan members fearlessly trade wound for wound, Uchiha Tajima suddenly sensed that something was wrong.

"Elder Yan, have you seen any powerful enemies among them?"

In such a large-scale assault, the Kaguya Clan had not sent out their top combatants. Only cannon fodder was struggling here.

"Doesn't seem like it. Enemies at this level should not have been able to break so easily into our interior!"

Uchiha Yan, who excelled in battle, also realized something was off about the enemy.

At their head was none other than the square-faced Kaguya Sosuke. Beside him stood Kaguya Takuya, a hybrid of their clan and the Hyuga. "Hahaha, we got in so easily."

Kaguya Sosuke stared excitedly at the unguarded gate before him and laughed wildly. Turning to Kaguya Takuya beside him, he said, "Takuya, you deserve the greatest credit for this infiltration. When we return, I will report to the Clan Leader and seek rewards for you."

As a hybrid, Kaguya Takuya had suffered no small amount of discrimination within the clan. Had he not awakened a mutated Byakugan bloodline, he likely would have been reduced to a servant of the pure-blooded Kaguya Clan.

This attack had bypassed multiple Undercover Sentries with the help of his Byakugan. These accomplishments were enough for him to establish a foothold within the clan.

"Why did you take so long?"

The Mysterious Person silently emerged from the darkness again, as though he had been waiting for quite some time.

"Hmph, stop wasting time. Tell us where the Uchiha Clan's secret locations and important figures are hiding."

Seeing the Mysterious Person they were meeting, Kaguya Sosuke urged him without any politeness.

The Mysterious Person pulled out a simple map from On Him. Several locations were marked with red crosses. After tossing the map to Kaguya Sosuke, he said in a ghostly voice,

"I hope you hurry. I can hardly wait to see Uchiha Tajima's expression of pain."

Kaguya Sosuke unfolded the map. Most of the locations marked with red crosses were important places such as granaries, armories, supply depots, and research institutes. Yet the largest red cross was clearly marked: "Clan Leader's Mansion."

"Hahaha, I really wonder what Uchiha Tajima did to you to make you hate him so much."

Seeing the heavily marked Clan Leader's Mansion, A Hint Of confusion appeared on Kaguya Sosuke's bloodthirsty face.

"None of your business."

The Mysterious Person lowered his head and coldly spoke those four words, then melted into the darkness without looking back.

"Men, move out! Let's make a mess of things!"

Kaguya Sosuke handed the map to Kaguya Takuya beside him, raised an arm, and shouted. Leading several dozen elite warriors, he charged into the weakly defended Uchiha Clan Land like wolves entering a flock of sheep, beginning their slaughtering revelry.

The Mysterious Person standing in the darkness removed his disguise. A dim glimmer flickered in his eyes.

Watching the bloody storm stirred up by the Kaguya Clan, the aged Uchiha Yao took out a jar filled with liquid.

Inside floated a pair of eyes emitting a faint red glow. Uchiha Yao stroked the glass and murmured softly, "Jin, let me show you how the murderer receives the punishment he deserves."

Elsewhere, two thin figures ran through the silent streets of the Uchiha Clan. The Myriad Homes Lit of ordinary days were now pitch-black.

"A Gin, where are you taking me?"

The girl, who had been dragged along by the boy in a daze, asked disorientedly, "To my uncle's place. It'll definitely be safe there."
