An End-of-Volume Note That Nearly Died in the Womb

After a year and a half, I finally brought the plot back around to Chapter One. Little Cat would like to thank all you wonderful readers for your support and affection.

As a novice author, Little Cat's journey with this debut work has not been smooth. Most of the time, I've been feeling my way across the river by touching the stones.

But thankfully, with everyone's attention, I was able to grit my teeth and keep going, continuing the daily story of a certain thirty-year-old Salted Fish Uncle.

Starting with the next volume, the ensemble cast's share of the story will be greatly reduced, and the main perspective will shift to Lao Yin.

The characters everyone knows will appear one by one, and the plot holes I dug earlier will also start being filled in one at a time—for example, the other timeline that was previously traversed, the origins of the Backyard NPCs, and so on. I need to give everyone an explanation.

That is roughly the situation. Little Cat was never good at writing end-of-volume notes, so this is all I can say.

By the way, judging from the direction of the plot, I've only written about half of it so far. After all, 90% of the previous plot was original stuff I came up with, and only now will it start connecting to the original work (fog).
