Handling hospital matters, specially requesting a day off

During my father's postoperative checkup today, we found that the reduction results were not ideal. I spent the whole time communicating with the attending doctor about the treatment plan, and on top of that, the traffic police suddenly notified us to handle the accident determination. After running around all day, I'm physically and mentally exhausted, so I'm taking a day off. I hope all you esteemed readers will understand.
