Before you guys have to wait too long, I'm putting out this single-chapter update early.
Actually, I got onto the bestseller recommendations today, and I'm also getting close to third place on the new books monthly ticket rankings. On top of that, you guys have been incredibly generous with rewards and monthly tickets, so I've been gritting my teeth and holding on.
But if I want to keep this going in the long run and write this subject matter well, I won't be updating any further today.
If I keep staying up late, something will go wrong sooner or later. And I can't get enough sleep during the day at all—the more I sleep, the more exhausted I feel. (If only I had the Sleep Bug Art!!)
I took two melatonin pills just now, and I'm feeling a little sleepy, so I'll just take the day off. It's not really a missed update either; I just updated less on two days.
Let's calculate the updates I currently owe: 2 chapters for Alliance Leaders, 4 chapters for monthly tickets, plus the base 3 chapters, for a total of 9 chapters owed.
At the start of serialization, I set a daily update target of 8,000 to 12,000 characters. This month, I've already updated 374,000 characters.
I've spent over ten hours a day writing, sometimes even twelve.
I thought I could keep it up for a long time, but it looks like I overestimated myself a little. First, I'm not young anymore—I'm already thirty. Second, this subject matter isn't like the Fighting and Killing, mindless emotional style I wrote before, so the pace is much slower too.
I'll repay the 9 chapters I owe. There are still five days left this month, so I'll try to repay 5 chapters.
Based on how things go over the next few days, I'll set a new update plan at the start of next month.
That's all.
