River Valley Town, Adventurers Association.

Xia Nan carried Dual Blades on his back, his right hand guarding the bulging money pouch at his waist.

He squeezed through the crowd and walked out the Association's front doors.

The frost condensed by the Barbarian Fugan was most likely mixed with some kind of Transcendent Power.

Even though it was the height of summer and the weather was hot, and many days had passed since it had been separated from its original body, the ice wrapped around the Goblin ears still showed no sign of melting.

So when Xia Nan carried his spoils in to exchange them for the bounty, what he handed over was practically two lumps of ice.

Fortunately, the receptionist at the Association's front desk, the short-haired girl named Molly, had probably been working there long enough to have seen plenty.

She did not make things difficult for him either. She only glanced at them twice, then accepted the ice lumps. After carefully checking that they were intact, she tossed the money pouch holding the bounty onto the counter in front of him with trembling hands.

He guessed that things had gone so smoothly partly because she was indeed responsible in this regard, and partly because of the tip as high as one Silver Coin he had given her last time to repay her for helping him find a buyer for the Firefly Garlic Vine.

In short.

Two Bear Goblins—20 gold.

After thinking it over, Xia Nan took the money pouch from his waist and stuffed it deep into the backpack behind him, just to be safe.

His fingertips accidentally brushed the Wolf Fang the Barbarian had left as a token.

In his mind, he could not help recalling his conversation with Fugan yesterday at the White Tit Tavern.
