What Alton discovered was a strangely shaped platform.

Its overall form resembled a flatter recliner, or some kind of movable single bed.

It was about as wide as an adult's arm span and roughly seven or eight feet long. Yet unlike an ordinary bed in a house, this single bed stood at waist height, much taller than normal, as if deliberately designed that way.

The entire surface was made of cold white marble, smooth and icy to the touch. Dark-red natural veins resembling blood vessels covered its surface, winding naturally downward along the platform.
