Ch. 497Dragon, Snake, Falcon
Tom used Herpo the Foul’s dark magic to shield King from Grindelwald’s lethal flame, but his counterattack faltered under its power. As Dumbledore prepared to intervene, Tom joined with Nelson’s lingering power and summoned Alexander to face Grindelwald.
- Grindelwald attacked King with an invisible, searing flame, and Tom stepped in front of him.
- Tom summoned a giant black serpent that bound and attacked Grindelwald’s flame, but the spell injured Tom and began to collapse.
- Dumbledore praised Tom and moved to confront Grindelwald, but Tom insisted that Nar’s matter was his responsibility.
- Mayflies and Lost Mist flowed from the damaged Iron Fist as Nelson’s phantom helped Tom rebuild the giant into Alexander.
- Tom took Nelson’s Throne atop Alexander and ordered the giant to attack, and its Iron Fist struck toward Grindelwald’s flame.
