Yuzuru's Abilities and Speculations

"Get out of my sight."

Yuzuru glared irritably at Chimimōryō. He suddenly felt that this monster seemed to have a knack for comedy; it was nothing like the domineering Mōryō from his memories, the one that had tried to destroy the Shinobi World.

"Yes, Lord Yuzuru!"

At Yuzuru's glare, Chimimōryō immediately shrank back in fright. It then quietly floated off to one side of the stone platform.

Seeing this, Yuzuru paid it no further attention. He slowly closed his eyes and began carefully examining his own abilities once more.

After Yuzuru devoured Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's Spirit Body and took up residence in his flesh, he had successfully "stolen" Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's "account." All of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's abilities would be inherited by Yuzuru. But inheritance was one thing; whether he could control them, and how proficient he was with them, was another matter entirely.

Yuzuru slowly began using his abilities...

First came his pair of distinctly different ocular techniques. His left eye was a special Byakugan that could see through things and perceive objects in color. His right eye was the Golden Rice-Character Eyes, a variant of the Rinnegan that possessed three major Eye Techniques!

They were Space-Time Transfer, Sukuna Hikona, and Daikokuten!

A moment later, Yuzuru opened his eyes. The Byakugan in his left eye activated, and everything around him entered his vision. The colors of objects revealed through his x-ray vision flowed into his mind.

Within this chaotic alternate space, the purple-black energy radiating from Chimimōryō's body was especially eye-catching, making Yuzuru glance at it a few extra times. This made Chimimōryō feel as if it had been stripped naked before Yuzuru. Already frightened and panicked, it shrank its head again, curling its body into a ball like a snake. Seeing it act so timidly, Yuzuru could not help wondering whether it was truly an evil monster after all...

After merely observing the flow of energy within its body and its anatomy, which differed from that of a human, Yuzuru ignored it and continued exploring the ability of his right eye. As Dōjutsu Power surged through the Golden Rice-Character Eyes, the Eye Technique Sukuna Hikona immediately activated on himself. His body instantly shrank to the size of a particle and vanished directly from Chimimōryō's sight. In confusion, Chimimōryō immediately used its abilities to sense him, but even after a long while, it could not detect Yuzuru's presence in the slightest!

"Lord Yuzuru... ah... sir?"

Before Chimimōryō could finish calling out, Yuzuru suddenly appeared behind it, startling it badly. Its curled-up body sprang open, and it began flailing about like a clown.

Yuzuru ignored this living treasure and continued testing Sukuna Hikona. His right eye focused on a massive meteorite. Then, as his Dōjutsu Power activated, that enormous meteorite abruptly shrank into a pebble the size of a fingernail!

Moreover, the feedback from his Eye Technique made Yuzuru understand that Sukuna Hikona could alter a target's size as he pleased, depending on the amount of Dōjutsu Power he expended!

Of course, Sukuna Hikona could only shrink a target to a certain size and instantly restore it to its original size. It could not enlarge anything beyond its original volume. In other words, it did not possess the ability to increase size...

The sight immediately shocked Chimimōryō again, just as it had calmed down. That had been a meteorite over ten meters in diameter, yet it had suddenly turned into a tiny pebble the size of a fingernail. This was far too bizarre!

That was Chimimōryō's most honest thought. It simply could not understand such an ability, and while it feared Yuzuru even more, it also became more respectful toward him...

Next, Yuzuru used the Eye Technique Daikokuten to store the small pebble in that alternate dimension where time stood still. The next second, he summoned it back out and used Sukuna Hikona again to instantly restore it to its original size...

"This kind of attack really is impossible to guard against!"

Only after becoming proficient with the Golden Rice-Character Eyes' two major Eye Techniques did Yuzuru stop testing them. A pleased expression appeared on his face as he muttered to himself.

Yuzuru recalled Isshiki's bizarre attack methods in the original timeline. He felt there was no need to make any improvements to that combat style; after all, it was already nearly perfect.

Simple, brutal, efficient!

That was the embodiment of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's offensive power. He had no need for any flashy Eye Techniques. With these two bizarre Eye Techniques and his powerful taijutsu, he could handle the vast majority of formidable enemies!

Yuzuru remembered that in Boruto, Isshiki had once used this very attack style to crush Naruto and Sasuke working together...

Having gained a general understanding of his Eye Techniques and abilities, Yuzuru only needed to master them and apply them in battle. Therefore, he did not continue experimenting with his Eye Techniques and instead began examining some of his other abilities...

Flight, Byakugan pressure, Black Rods, Black-Red Cube, perception...

These had originally been Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's basic abilities, so Yuzuru quickly understood and mastered them.

As for his space-time Eye Technique, Space-Time Transfer, he had already experienced and tested it when he entered this alternate space earlier...

"Then there is one more most important thing in Isshiki's possession..."

After roughly examining all of his abilities, Yuzuru began pondering the most important thing Isshiki possessed.

The juvenile Ten-Tails!

Isshiki also had a juvenile Ten-Tails under his control!

Unfortunately, this Ten-Tails was not in Yuzuru's alternate space, but in a coordinate alternate space outside the Shinobi World...

The coordinate alternate space was an alternate space used by the Ōtsutsuki Clan to conveniently connect to and enter the Shinobi World. Every Ōtsutsuki who arrived would leave behind their own unique mark and information there...

From what Yuzuru understood, Kaguya, who had yet to eat the God Tree Fruit, did not possess Space-Time Transfer. In other words, while she remained in the Shinobi World, she had no way of returning to that coordinate alternate space...

Should I go back and take the juvenile Ten-Tails away?

Yuzuru had considered it, but rejected the idea the very next moment. He could indeed enter the coordinate alternate space now and take the Ten-Tails away, but doing so would most likely expose him! Once Kaguya ate the God Tree Fruit a thousand years later and went to retrieve the juvenile Ten-Tails, only to discover that it had vanished, she would immediately realize that this "Ōtsutsuki" was still alive. Capturing him would not only eliminate a future threat, but also allow her to sacrifice him to that juvenile Ten-Tails again and plant another God Tree...

Thinking it over, taking the Ten-Tails would definitely bring Yuzuru more harm than good!

Come to think of it, Kaguya's willingness in the original timeline to bear children with humans might have stemmed from the thought of sacrificing her offspring to that juvenile Ten-Tails. After all, in Kaguya's eyes, Isshiki had long since died within the Ten-Tails' stomach...

However, according to the history of Naruto, Kaguya never planted a second God Tree. There might have been two reasons. One was that the Ōtsutsuki bloodline of the brothers Hagoromo and Hamura was not pure enough to meet the minimum requirements for sacrificing them to the Ten-Tails. The other was that Kaguya's maternal instincts refused such a thought of "devouring her children"!
