Seiji traveled to the Land of Rivers battlefield to support Shimura Danzō’s plan to kill Kira Uchiha, meeting Danzō in secret and giving him a contact scroll. Danzō recognized Seiji as a formidable threat but recommitted himself to eliminating the Uchiha Clan, believing he would eventually surpass Seiji.

• Seiji sent Otsutsuki Tenshin and Otsutsuki Gara to establish an Otsutsuki Clan base in Hidden Mist Village, then traveled to the Land of Fire.
• Seiji inspected Sanzu Amado’s research at the Underground Exchange and took Chakra Radios and Ear-hook Chakra Phones for Hidden Mist Village.

• Suikazan Fuguki read Kaguya Kaze’s telegram, revealing that Kaguya Musashi planned to ambush Hyou and Seiji on the road to the capital.
