Chapter Summaries

Mei Terumi withdrew Kirigakure from the Allied Shinobi Forces and explained her decision to Ao as the battle against the Ten-Tails began. Under Shikaku Nara’s command, the remaining forces coordinated attacks that temporarily trapped the Ten-Tails, Madara Uchiha, and Obito Uchiha in hardened quicklime.

• Mei Terumi led the Hidden Mist Ninja away from Allied Forces headquarters, and Ao asked why she had withdrawn Kirigakure.
• Mei Terumi told Ao and the other Hidden Mist Ninja that Kirigakure no longer needed to maintain false appearances with the other villages.
• Naruto Uzumaki and the unit commanders restored order after the Hidden Mist Ninja left, while Madara Uchiha and Obito Uchiha waited as the Ten-Tails recovered.
• Shikaku Nara directed Kumogakure’s ninja to disrupt the enemy’s vision and perception with Lightning and Storm Release, while Temari’s Hidden Sand Ninja spread dust with Wind Release.

Seiji’s Wood Release Clone arrived from the moon, then went to the Hyuga compound to search for pure Byakugan for Toneri.

• The Ten-Tails shattered Kitsuchi and Kurotsuchi’s Mountain Earth Technique, transforming the battlefield with its Heavenly Disaster.
• Obito Uchiha pulled Kakashi Hatake into the Kamui Space, intending to use Kakashi’s hand to remove Madara Uchiha’s control talisman from his heart.

He planned to use the imperfect Ten-Tails to grow a God Tree with Natural Energy from Mount Myōboku and Ryūchi Cave, and waited for its transformation to finish.

• Seiji’s Wood Release Clone stole three pairs of Byakugan from Hanabi Hyuga, the Hyuga Clan’s Great Elder, and the Great Elder’s grandson, then returned to the moon to prepare Toneri for a Tenseigan transplant.
• Seiji stored Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s corpse in Takamagahara Space and entered Isshiki’s alternate dimension to reach the Small Ten-Tails.

Seiji entered Ryūchi Cave and used Sage Art Wood Release to slaughter nearly every snake there, leaving the White Snake Sage and the three Snake Princesses alive. He then used his space-time abilities to appear near the White Snake Sage, which sensed his arrival but could not yet see him.

• Seiji concealed his presence as he entered Ryūchi Cave and locked onto every snake with Chakra or Sage Chakra.
• Blue Snake vanished after Sasuke Uchiha summoned it to fight a Ten-Tails split body, narrowly escaping Seiji's attack.

On the main battlefield, Naruto and Sasuke struck the Ten-Tails, while Obito resisted Madara’s control and invoked the Six Paths Ten-Tails Coffin Seal.

• Seiji killed the White Snake Sage with the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, leaving Blue Snake as Ryūchi Cave’s only survivor.

• Minato Namikaze used the Flying Thunder God mark to appear beside Obito Uchiha and slash his chest with a kunai.
• Obito Uchiha absorbed the Ten-Tails and became Six Paths Obito, then shattered the Gates of the Great God and tore apart the Four Red Yang Formation.

Seiji annihilated Mount Myōboku, killed Gamamaru, and buried his remains so the Ten-Tails God Tree could absorb the sacred land’s energy. While Seiji waited at Ryūchi Cave for the tree to absorb more Natural Energy and Sage Chakra, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha defeated Six Paths Obito on the main battlefield.

• Seiji used Sage Art: Wood Release to kill nearly every frog on Mount Myōboku, then attacked Gamamaru at his temple with a Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.
• Gamamaru dodged Seiji’s first strike, but Seiji severed one of his legs with a second attack and killed him with a third.

Kakashi Hatake and Minato Namikaze stopped Sasuke Uchiha from killing Obito Uchiha, and Obito prepared to use the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique. Black Zetsu took control of the technique, and Madara Uchiha was revived in a living body.

• Kakashi Hatake pinned Obito Uchiha down and tried to stab him, but Minato Namikaze stopped him.
• Minato Namikaze and Kakashi Hatake talked Obito Uchiha into regaining his senses, and Obito formed the Snake Seal.
• Hashirama Senju bound Madara Uchiha with a Wood Dragon, and Naruto Uzumaki's Rasenshuriken damaged Madara's Reanimation Body.

Madara Uchiha revived fully, absorbed Hashirama Senju’s Sage Chakra, and fought Sasuke Uchiha before being overwhelmed by the Tailed Beasts. Seiji arrived as White Zetsu delivered Madara’s Rinnegan, and Madara restored his eye and laughed as he prepared for battle.

• Sasuke Uchiha attacked Madara Uchiha with Amaterasu and taunted him, but Madara ignored the flames and overpowered Hashirama Senju, Naruto Uzumaki, and Sai.
• Madara Uchiha drained Hashirama Senju’s Sage Chakra, then trapped Sasuke Uchiha’s sword and struck him with a point-blank Fire Release technique.

Madara Uchiha summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, subdued the Tailed Beasts with Limbo and sealing chains, and began extracting half of the Nine-Tails from Naruto Uzumaki. Tobirama Senju attempted to ambush him but was swiftly defeated and pinned to the ground.
