Ch. 61Sunagakure VS. Hidden Rain Village (Part 2)

Chiyo confronted Hanzo on the battlefield while Amegakure and Sunagakure forces clashed. Chiyo discovered that Hanzo’s scythe carried poison and began analyzing a sample as she tried to hold him off.

  • Hanzo led the Amegakure shinobi into an attack, and Chiyo handed command of the Sunagakure troops to Ebizo before confronting him with the Chikamatsu Ten Puppets.
  • Hanzo combined Black Rain Technique with Phoenix Sage Fire Technique, but Chiyo used her puppets to block the attacks with Mechanism Light Shield Seal.
  • Hanzo cut through Chiyo’s Sand Clone and then used his chain and scythe to damage one of her puppets and sever its arm.
  • Chiyo found that Hanzo’s scythe poison had spread through the damaged puppet and began analyzing a sample while she stalled him.
  • Amegakure’s main force clashed with Sunagakure’s troops, and the two sides began fighting.

Ch. 62Sunagakure VS Hidden Rain Village (Part 2)

Chiyo and Hanzo fought a close battle as Chiyo’s puppets briefly trapped Hanzo, but he exploited her recall to wound her and countered her defenses with further attacks. Hanzo then evaded Chiyo’s eight puppets and found an opening to strike directly at her.

  • Chiyo sent three puppets to attack Hanzo, who blocked their assault before the Horse-Faced Puppet’s chakra blast exploded against him.
  • Hanzo emerged unharmed, then detonated Exploding Tags hidden on Chiyo’s returning female puppet and blasted Chiyo away.
  • Hanzo unleashed the Great Waterfall Technique, and Chiyo used Mechanism Light Shield Seal to block it but was injured by the force.
  • Hanzo used Water Body Flicker to appear among Chiyo and her puppets, evaded their attacks, and pressed toward her.
  • Hanzo spotted a brief opening between himself and Chiyo while she controlled her puppets.

Ch. 63Sunagakure VS Hidden Rain Village (End)

Chiyo trapped and wounded Hanzo, but he summoned Salamander Ibuse and spread poison gas across the battlefield. The battle ended with both armies withdrawing, while Hanzo and Chiyo remained determined to pursue their war aims.

  • Chiyo's sealing trap caught Hanzo, but he broke free before her puppets could kill him and suffered a deep wound to his shoulder.
  • Hanzo summoned Salamander Ibuse, which released poison gas across the battlefield and poisoned some Hidden Sand ninja.
  • Chiyo used Three Treasures Crushing Vacuum to draw in and compress the spreading poison gas, then left Ebizo to control the puppets.
  • Hanzo withdrew with the Hidden Rain Village ninja because his injuries and Chiyo's poison weakened him, bringing the battle to an abrupt end.
  • Hanzo still intended to cripple Hidden Sand before turning against Konoha, while Chiyo planned to analyze the salamander poison and lead Hidden Sand to victory.

Ch. 64Urgent Mission

Seiji led the Seven Ninja Swordsmen toward Outpost 6 after learning that the Three-Tails and Six-Tails Jinchuriki had gone berserk, with orders to restrain the Six-Tails until Hyou could seal it. At Outpost 3, Hyou fought the rampaging Three-Tails Jinchuriki and ultimately froze him in place.

  • An Anbu delivered Hyou's urgent order for Seiji to lead the Seven Ninja Swordsmen to Outpost 6.
  • Suikazan Fuguki met Seiji on the way and reported that both Outpost 3 and Outpost 6 were in crisis, and that Hyou had gone to Outpost 3.
  • Seiji realized the Six-Tails Jinchuriki needed to be restrained rather than killed, since the group could not seal a Tailed Beast.
  • Hyou arrived at Outpost 3 and found the Three-Tails Jinchuriki rampaging among the ruined buildings and dead Anbu.
  • Hyou blocked the Jinchuriki's Tailed Beast Ball with an ice wall and countered its attacks with an ice sword.
  • Hyou trapped the Jinchuriki inside Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals and froze him with repeated Icy Palm strikes.

Ch. 65Three-Tails

Ice tried to contain the Three-Tails Jinchuriki, but the Jinchuriki transformed completely and released the Three-Tails. Ice then fought the beast at Outpost 3 and left it frozen with his Ice Release: Absolute Zero.

  • Ice sensed the Three-Tails emerging and ordered the surviving Anbu to retreat and summon Elder Harusame with sealing tools.
  • The Three-Tails broke out of its icy prison and attacked Ice with a high-pressure water jet.
  • The Three-Tails flooded and destroyed Outpost 3 with Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave, while Ice froze the lake and the beast with Ice Age.
  • The Three-Tails broke free and launched a Tailed Beast Ball at Ice.
  • Ice used Ice Release: Absolute Zero to freeze the Tailed Beast Ball and then encase the Three-Tails in ice.

Ch. 66Six-Tails! The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's First Battle (Part 1)

Seiji and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist reached Outpost 6 and fought the rampaging Six-Tails Jinchuriki while waiting for Third Mizukage Hyou to arrive. Their coordinated attacks restrained and wounded it, but the Jinchuriki’s defenses withstood the swordsmen’s strikes.

  • Hyou subdued the rampaging Three-Tails and prepared to wait for Elder Harusame before helping with the Six-Tails.
  • Seiji’s group arrived at Outpost 6, where Suikazan Fuguki swept the Six-Tails Jinchuriki away and gave the surviving Anbu time to withdraw.
  • Seiji ordered his group to hold off the Jinchuriki until Hyou arrived, and the Seven Ninja Swordsmen coordinated Water and Lightning Release attacks to paralyze it.
  • Seiji pierced the Jinchuriki’s shoulder with Water Severing Wave, but its Tailed Beast Chakra rapidly healed the wound.
  • Munashi Jinpachi detonated Exploding Blade Shibuki as Kushimaru Kuriarare thrust Nuibari through the smoke, but the Jinchuriki’s defenses stopped both attacks.

Ch. 67Six-Tails! The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's First Battle (Part 2)

The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist fought the berserk Six-Tails Jinchuriki, coordinating their weapons and techniques to restrain and damage him. After their explosive attack failed to stop him, he formed a Tailed Beast Ball and fired it at the nearby swordsmen.

  • Kushimaru Kuriarare’s hesitation left Munashi Jinpachi alone against the Six-Tails Jinchuriki until Jinin Akebino pulled him to safety with a Water Whip.
  • Suikazan Fuguki attacked with Samehada while Kushimaru Kuriarare harassed the Jinchuriki and bound his tails with Nuibari’s wire.
  • The Jinchuriki changed his chakra cloak, dissolved Nuibari’s wire, and injured Jinin Akebino with an acid blast that also incapacitated Samehada.
  • The Jinchuriki struck Suikazan Fuguki, but Samehada recovered and sent chakra into him to heal him.
  • Kushimaru Kuriarare trapped the Jinchuriki with Ground Spider Stitch, and Munashi Jinpachi detonated him with Exploding Blade Art: Burst.
  • Seiji warned the swordsmen as the Jinchuriki formed and fired a Tailed Beast Ball at them, leaving them too close to evade.

Ch. 68Six-Tails! The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's First Battle (Part 2)

The Six-Tails Jinchuriki overwhelmed the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist until Samehada swallowed his Tailed Beast Ball and Seiji created an opening with Earth Release. Jinin Akebino broke through the Jinchuriki’s defenses with the Kabutowari.

  • Juzo Biwa tried to stop the Tailed Beast Ball with the Kubikiribōchō, but the blade snapped, and his teammates pulled him out of danger.
  • Suikazan Fuguki used Samehada to devour the Tailed Beast Ball, enraging the Six-Tails Jinchuriki, who attacked and badly injured Kushimaru Kuriarare and Munashi Jinpachi.
  • Seiji ordered Juzo Biwa to withdraw because he had lost the Kubikiribōchō, while Suikazan Fuguki and Jinin Akebino continued fighting the Jinchuriki.
  • Seiji used Earth Release: Ground Shake Core to disrupt the Six-Tails Jinchuriki’s footing and slow him down.
  • Jinin Akebino seized the opening and struck with the Kabutowari, breaking through the Six-Tails Jinchuriki’s defenses.

Ch. 69Seiji and Six-Tails (Part 1)

  • Kabutowari wounded the Six-Tails Jinchuriki again, driving him into a complete Tailed Beast Transformation.
  • The Six-Tails swept Suikazan Fuguki and Jinin Akebino aside, badly injuring them, then fired a Tailed Beast Ball at Seiji.
  • Seiji used Hiramekarei Release to meet and repel the Tailed Beast Ball with a chakra blast.
  • Seiji pushed the Six-Tails away with Water Formation Pillar and bound it with Water Dragon Bullet Technique.
  • Saito Kage unleashed Thunder Gate, and Seiji and Saito Kage struck the restrained beast with their Lightning Water Dragon Bullet combination technique.
  • The attack paralyzed the Six-Tails and covered its body in small wounds and charred marks.

Ch. 70Seiji and Six-Tails (Part 2)

Seiji relentlessly attacked the Six-Tails, wounding it and severing one of its tails with his Shikotsumyaku. Jinin Akebino and Saito Kage realized Seiji belonged to the Kaguya Clan and kept the secret, while the enraged Six-Tails focused its hatred on him.

  • Seiji struck the restrained Six-Tails with Hiramekarei’s Crescent Moon Sky Piercer, driving it into the ground and reopening its wounds.
  • Seiji used Shikotsumyaku to pull out his spine, wrap it around one of the Six-Tails’ tails, and launch himself toward the beast.
  • Seiji pierced the Six-Tails’ sweeping tail with a bone drill, then transformed the drill into a blade and severed the tail with an Iai Slash.
  • Jinin Akebino and Saito Kage recognized Seiji’s Shikotsumyaku as a sign of Kaguya Clan heritage and decided to keep quiet about it.
  • The wounded Six-Tails became furious with Seiji, hating him more than Third Mizukage Hyou and recalling its fear of Hashirama Senju.

Ch. 71The Passing

Seiji faced the rampaging Six-Tails at Outpost 6 while Hyou and Harusame sealed the Three-Tails and comforted its dying Jinchuriki. The Three-Tails was secured in a sealing jar, and Hyou and Harusame headed to Outpost 6 to deal with the Six-Tails.

  • The Six-Tails unleashed a violent chakra storm, forcing Seiji to retreat before he prepared to attack again.
  • At Outpost 3, Hyou and Harusame used the Yin-Yang Sealing technique to seal the Three-Tails back into its Jinchuriki.
  • The dying Three-Tails Jinchuriki apologized to Hyou and asked to be buried beside his wife and for the village to care for his infant child, Utakata.
  • Harusame promised to take Utakata as his disciple and raise him, and the Three-Tails Jinchuriki died after receiving their answer.
  • Hyou and Harusame extracted the Three-Tails and sealed it in a jar, then sent Ken to escort the jar to the village while they went to Outpost 6.

Ch. 72Rashomon

Seiji fought the Six-Tails at Outpost 6, dodging its corrosive attacks and striking its body with Shikotsumyaku. When the Six-Tails fired a Tailed Beast Ball at him, Seiji summoned Triple Rashomon to divert the attack.

  • Hyō and Spring Rain rushed to Outpost 6 to reinforce Seiji and the others.
  • Seiji dodged the Six-Tails' acid and crossed its corrosive liquid with Chakra and Wind Release before landing on its body.
  • Seiji attacked the Six-Tails with Dance of the Larch, but escaped when it covered itself in acidic mucus.
  • The Six-Tails fired a Tailed Beast Ball at Seiji as he fell through the air.
  • Seiji summoned Triple Rashomon to counter the incoming Tailed Beast Ball.

Ch. 73Omen of Awakening

Seiji blocked the Six-Tails’ Tailed Beast Ball with Triple Rashomon, then replenished his chakra by summoning Samehada. With the Six-Tails charging again and his allies unable to fight, Seiji used Water Release: Water Trumpet to engulf them both in a sphere of water.

  • Seiji summoned Triple Rashomon, which delayed and ultimately stopped the Six-Tails’ Tailed Beast Ball before the gates and the attack both broke apart.
  • Seiji summoned Samehada away from Suikazan Fuguki and used its remaining Tailed Beast Chakra to restore his own chakra.
  • The Six-Tails’ chakra stirred Seiji’s Otsutsuki Bloodline, though Seiji did not notice the change.
  • Seiji decided to stop the Six-Tails before Third Mizukage Hyou arrived, wary of using his stronger techniques or transforming with Samehada.
  • As the Six-Tails charged to fire another Tailed Beast Ball, Seiji used Water Release: Water Trumpet and engulfed them both in water.

Ch. 74The Imminent End

Seiji trapped the Six-Tails in a massive water sphere and used his Samehada fusion to overpower it. As Third Mizukage Hyou arrived and saw Seiji winning, Seiji's absorbed Tailed Beast Chakra was quietly awakening the power in his eyes.

  • Hyou sensed the injured Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and Seiji battling the Six-Tails, then raced ahead and ordered Elder Harusame to treat the wounded.
  • The Six-Tails coated itself in acid and tried to escape Seiji's Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave.
  • Seiji fused with Samehada and used the Water Prison Samehada Dance Technique to chase down and attack the Six-Tails, absorbing its Chakra and healing his wounds.
  • Some of the Six-Tails' Chakra merged with Seiji's and flowed toward the meridians around his eyes, bringing him closer to awakening them.
  • Hyou arrived, saw Seiji beating the Six-Tails, and felt reassured that his newly formed unit had been the right decision.

Ch. 75Opening Eyes

Hyou and Spring Rain subdued and sealed the Six-Tails, while Seiji underwent a mysterious eye mutation and a dramatic surge in Chakra. After concealing the change from Hyou, Seiji decided to investigate his new eyes once he returned.

  • Seiji released the water prison, and Hyou froze the Six-Tails with Ice Release: Ice Age, interrupting its Tailed Beast Ball.
  • Hyou and Spring Rain sealed the Six-Tails inside its Jinchuriki, extracted it again, and placed it in a sealing jar; the Jinchuriki died.
  • Seiji felt his Chakra rapidly increase as his eyes changed and connected him to the Daikokuten Space left by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.
  • Spring Rain explained Seiji's Chakra leakage as exhaustion and possible internal injuries, and Seiji pretended to be worn out so Hyou would not suspect the change.
  • After Hyou and Spring Rain departed with the Six-Tails, Seiji checked his reflection and saw no Byakugan, then resolved to investigate his altered eyes later.

Ch. 76After the Battle

After the battle, Seiji and the injured Seven Ninja Swordsmen recovered at the Hidden Mist Hospital, where Third Mizukage Hyou checked on them. Ringo Minako assured Hyou that the three gravely wounded swordsmen would recover, and Hyou granted the group time off.

  • Kushimaru Kuriarare, Munashi Jinpachi, and Jinin Akebino remained hospitalized with severe injuries from the Six-Tails, while Seiji and the others watched over them.
  • Seiji's strength and leadership had earned the loyalty of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, who had become a close and harmonious team.
  • Third Mizukage Hyou entered the ward with hospital director Ringo Minako and asked about the injured swordsmen.
  • Ringo Minako explained that Harusame's timely treatment had prevented lasting damage and promised the three would recover well.
  • Hyou told the team to rest and excused them from reporting for duty at the Mizukage Tower for the time being.

Ch. 77Jōgan! Your Cheat Has Arrived!

After the battle with the Six-Tails, Seiji examined his rapidly growing chakra and awakened Jōgan, discovering it had inherited and strengthened Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s abilities. He activated the Dojutsu in his right eye and vanished.

  • Seiji returned Samehada to Suikazan Fuguki, then went home as his vacation began.
  • Seiji learned that Genji had gone to meet the elder Spring Rain and retreated to his room to assess his gains from the Six-Tails battle.
  • Seiji found his chakra reserves had grown beyond 100 units and his body was advancing toward a complete Sage Body.
  • Seiji awakened the Jōgan, whose vision reached ten kilometers and let him see through objects in their original colors.
  • Seiji discovered he had inherited both of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s Dojutsu abilities in stronger forms, then activated the ability in his right eye and vanished.

Ch. 78Takamagahara

Seiji discovered that his right-eye Dojutsu, Takamagahara, had transported him to Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s alternate dimension and let him teleport to places marked with his Pupil Power. There he found Isshiki’s juvenile Ten-Tails and began absorbing its Chakra, causing his Chakra and Jōgan Pupil Power to surge.

  • Seiji emerged in an alternate dimension after Takamagahara consumed much of his Pupil Power, then recognized the place as Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s ruins.
  • Seiji discovered that Takamagahara had inherited Daikokuten’s storage and summoning abilities and could use the dimension for teleportation.
  • Seiji followed a tremendous noise and found Ōtsutsuki Isshiki’s juvenile Ten-Tails imprisoned beneath the ruins.
  • Seiji began absorbing a trace of the Ten-Tails’ Chakra, and his Chakra reserves and Jōgan Pupil Power rapidly increased.

Ch. 79Ten-Tails

Seiji's Chakra and Pupil Power surged, bringing him to a powerful Kage-level, and he learned to sense the juvenile Ten-Tails's thoughts. After calming the hungry beast, he explored his Takamagahara Space and found weapons and cubes left by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.

  • Seiji's Chakra reserves and strength grew rapidly, and he assessed himself as a powerful Kage-level combatant with an awakened Jōgan.
  • Seiji absorbed a thread of the Small Ten-Tails's Chakra and sensed that it was hungry after Ōtsutsuki Isshiki had imprisoned it and drained its Chakra.
  • Seiji used Chakra to promise the Small Ten-Tails he would stop absorbing its Chakra and eventually feed it an Ōtsutsuki, calming its hostility.
  • Seiji recognized that he could not yet undo the Six Paths Level Yin-Yang Release seal restraining the Small Ten-Tails.
  • Seiji entered his Takamagahara Space and found more than a dozen Yin-Yang Release Black Rods and six Daikokuten cubes left by Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.

Ch. 80Hamura's Gaze

Seiji stored his weapons in Takamagahara and tested his shrinking ability, recognizing that he still lagged far behind Isshiki. His Jōgan aura awakened Otsutsuki Hamura, who briefly sensed Seiji before choosing to return to slumber.

  • Seiji placed Hiramekarei and his personal items in a private space created with Takamagahara, making the swords quicker to retrieve.
  • Seiji used Sukuna Hikona to shrink the black rods and Daikokuten, then resolved to improve his speed and reduce the interval between activations.
  • Seiji returned to his room without realizing his Jōgan aura had awakened a soul sleeping on the moon.
  • Otsutsuki Hamura sensed the Jōgan in the Ninja World and learned that one of his descendants had awakened it.
  • Hamura hoped Seiji would protect the Ninja World, then chose not to interfere and fell asleep again.
