Not long after The Cullen family left, two more figures appeared at the ballet studio. Seeing the discarded clothes on the ground and James's arm, the woman crouched down, grabbed the arm, and said painfully, "These are James's clothes. Those damned vegetarians killed him."
Laurent, the Black man, looked around and sniffed the air. "I smell other people. There may have been others involved in killing James."
Victoria stood up, her eyes turning blood-red and her face twisting savagely. Looking at Laurent, she said, "I want revenge. The Cullen family, that girl, and whoever else you mentioned."
Laurent nodded. "I remembered all their scents."
"Woo-woo-woo!"
Police sirens sounded outside. Someone had reported a gunfight at the ballet studio, where dense gunfire had been heard. Several patrol cars rushed over.
The officers got out of their cars just in time to see Victoria and Lawrence walking out through the broken entrance. When they saw the severed arm in Victoria's hand, they immediately drew their guns and aimed them at the two. "Stay where you are! Raise your hands and don't move!" an officer shouted through the patrol car's loudspeaker.
Victoria and Lawrence had no intention of listening to them and kept walking.
"I order you to stop, or we will open fire!" the American police warned again.
Seeing that neither of them had a weapon, several officers rushed forward with guns drawn. Victoria was still immersed in the pain of losing her lover and was thoroughly annoyed by the police. A vicious glint flashed in her eyes. She darted forward, grabbed two officers by the necks, and flung them away.
Bang! Bang!
The two officers slammed hard into the front windshields of the patrol cars, their bodies crumpling inward. Blood splattered across the vehicles. They were clearly done for.
