That was the only thought in the Xenomorph's mind now.
"Shriek, shriek, shriek!"
A large rat scurried past nearby.
Whoosh!
The Xenomorph's tail shot out at incredible speed. The spike on its tail pierced straight through the rat's body, then sent it into its mouth.
Like stripping meat off a skewer, it pulled the rat into its mouth in one motion. With a crunch, crunch, crunch, it chewed it up and swallowed it. Its acid quickly digested the rat, skin and bones alike, turning it into nutrients for the Xenomorph's growth.
The Xenomorph ate as it walked. By the time it had traveled several miles, it had grown another size, roughly as large as an adult crocodile.
Splash, splash~~
The Xenomorph's claws stepped through puddles as it looked upward. Above was a sewer manhole cover, with water rushing down from that direction. Here, it caught a strong human scent.
Food!
Its claws dug into the wall as it climbed upward with a scrape, scrape. It rammed open the manhole cover and crawled out into a room. Water ran nearby. The Xenomorph slowly approached and saw a human taking a shower.
This was a company bathhouse for workers. The worker was whistling as he lathered himself with body wash when he suddenly sensed movement behind him and turned around.
That single glance filled the man with terror. At the doorway stood a monster nearly five feet tall, dragging a long tail behind it. Its ugliness was nauseating. Its body seemed covered in bony armor, and its savage fangs were exposed. The man jolted in fright and let out a scream.
The Xenomorph moved.
It lunged at the man in a flash, opening its huge mouth at the same time.
