After flying for a while, Homelander finally caught up with the plane. He yanked open the cabin door and entered with Queen Maeve. The moment the hijackers saw the superheroes, they immediately raised their guns, but before they could fire, Queen Maeve strangled two of them to death, while Homelander killed another two with his laser eyes.
When the hijacked passengers saw the superheroes deal with the hijackers, they immediately erupted in cheers. "Homelander is amazing! We love you!"

Homelander smiled and waved at everyone on the plane, declaring righteously, "As long as I'm here, I'll definitely keep you safe!"

The passengers applauded one after another.
Just then, someone said, "Homelander, it looks like there's still a hijacker in the cockpit."
The cheers abruptly stopped.

"Then die."
Just as Homelander was about to act, the hijacker proved even more ruthless. With a bang, he blew the captain's head apart. Homelander's laser beam arrived at the same moment, piercing through the hijacker's chest and through the plane's cockpit as well.
That destroyed all the flight controls, leaving the plane completely uncontrollable.
