Reflections on Completing the Book

The original outline had always been to end the story once he became immortal. It could have been padded out further, but Da Yu felt that would have been irresponsible. So, following his original intentions, he chose to end it.

In that Boonie Bears film, a major villain constantly sent people into animated worlds to collect all sorts of treasures. His spaceship held every kind of treasure, even Sun Wukong's Golden Cudgel. The final item he sought was the Golden Deer Antler, but Boonie Bear, Briar, and Baldy ultimately succeeded in protecting it together.
