As the saying went, better safe than sorry.

He was preparing for an escape. If they had some sort of lockdown protocol that trapped him inside, that would be bad. He had no desire to be caught like an eagle in a jar.

Jiang Hao infiltrated the museum, passed through a corridor, and entered the main hall. The hall was lit only dimly. Looking through his glasses, Jiang Hao discovered a dense web of infrared alarm devices throughout the room.

"Bird's Nest, start cracking the infrared detectors and the electronic locks on the display cases," Jiang Hao ordered.

"Already on it, Little Bird," Henry said.

A few minutes later, there was a click, like a circuit breaker tripping. Jiang Hao looked at the infrared alarms again and found that they had all been shut down.

"Little Bird, all the infrared sensors have been cut off. Those guards are deaf and blind now," Henry said with a touch of smugness.

"Excellent." Jiang Hao praised him at once.

Jack's voice came through the communicator. "Boss, I'll crack the programs on all the display cases soon. Then you can take whatever you want."

"OOOOOOK~, done!" Jack cheered, and Jiang Hao heard several others cheering along with him.

Jiang Hao stood up and stretched his limbs. Now I can take the goods easily. Just then, however, a shrill electric alarm suddenly rang throughout the museum.

"Ding-a-ling~~"

At the same time, every light in the hall came on, turning it bright as day. Everything was clearly visible.

Jiang Hao was startled and blurted out, "Fuck!"
