You Came Just to Deliver Equipment
Jiang Hao reached out, his hand about to touch the waterskin, when his gaze suddenly sharpened. He looked behind Wei Kun and barked, "What are you doing?!"
Wei Kun froze and instinctively turned his head.
But before he had even turned halfway, alarm flared in his heart. He hurriedly tried to turn back, but it was already too late.
The instant Wei Kun turned, Jiang Hao moved. The rope in his hands slipped to the ground, and he stomped hard, shooting forward in a blur. His hand snatched for the short sword at Wei Kun's waist.
Wei Kun reacted quickly as well, turning back and reaching for his waist. But he was still a beat too slow. Jiang Hao already had the short sword in hand, spun behind him, and pressed the blade to his throat.
It had all happened too fast.

The icy short sword rested against his throat, and a chill crawled up Wei Kun's spine to the top of his head. He knew how sharp that sword was.
