Chapter 689: Making a Fortune Through Robbery

Twenty minutes later, the three sunglasses-wearing little guys returned. Jiang Hao checked their memories and learned about the situation inside the estate.

The building was extremely spacious and luxuriously decorated. Its polished marble floors, thick white columns like those of a Greek temple, and first-floor living room that extended all the way to the roof gave it a grand feel. A huge, exquisite crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, while a circle of carved railings around the upper floor allowed anyone upstairs to see everything in the hall below.

Two rooms on the first floor housed bodyguards. Some had been spotted through windows, while others could only be heard. Jiang Hao guessed there were around ten to fifteen of them.

Jiang Hao thought it over and decided to sneak in quietly. No shooting if possible. He would take control of Don Stark, take the money, and leave.

"You three wait in the car. Don't make a sound," Jiang Hao instructed the three little guys.

The three little guys nodded and scampered back into the car.

Jiang Hao reached the edge of the estate, sprinted a few steps, and sprang upward. Bracing one hand against the iron fence, he nimbly vaulted over the more than two-meter-high wall and landed inside the estate.

Hunching over, he crept toward the building. He soon reached the ground floor, looked up, picked out a pitch-black room, grabbed the wall, and climbed onto a second-floor balcony in a few quick motions. He quietly opened the door, slipped inside, and closed it behind him.

It was a guest room. Light from the hall filtered through the glass pane in the door, allowing him to vaguely make out the room's interior.

Jiang Hao pressed his ear to the door and listened.
