Inside a private room at an izakaya, Jiang Hao sat with Natsume Yujin. After they each had a drink, Jiang Hao asked, "How did the matter I asked you to investigate turn out?"
Natsume Yujin said, "Chiba School has a total of seven board members. The largest shareholder is Matsumoto Genryo, chairman of Yokohama Matsumoto Auto Parts, who holds 27% of Chiba School's shares."
"The remaining shares are held by Kudo Jewelry at 21%, Taniguchi Chemical at 16%, Shimokawa Landscaping at 15%, and Takayama Fisheries at 10%."
"The current Chairperson of Chiba School, Fukuyama Miki, holds 11% of the shares. She is merely a minor shareholder, but she was elected chairperson because of her enthusiasm for education."
Jiang Hao now had a general understanding of Chiba School's shareholder structure. "So, is there any useful information?"
"There is some. Kudo Jewelry's financial situation is not very good right now—you know about the economic crisis. Taniguchi Chemical is suspected of illegal waste discharge, and the owner of Takayama Fisheries has a mistress. Time was too tight, so this is all we found for now," Natsume Yujin said.
Jiang Hao thought for a moment. He decided to take the conventional route first. Unorthodox methods could not be used too often; if the proper approach failed, then he would resort to other measures.
"What about those teachers?" Jiang Hao asked.
"Oh, speaking of the teachers you asked me to investigate, we came across something interesting during the investigation," Natsume Yujin said with a smile.
"What was it?"
Natsume leaned closer and said, "The father of that teacher you asked me to investigate, Leshi Heyuan—I had someone keep an eye on him. I never expected that bastard to hire two girls for compensated dating. Hahaha, the whole thing was recorded by my people."
