However, if the maximum level was Level 10, then Wind Release still had five more levels. What would those levels strengthen?

Masahiko thought for a moment, then his face suddenly darkened.

Which attribute could Wind Release fuse with to form a Kekkei Genkai?

Although Masahiko had read the plot, he was not particularly clear on the various Kekkei Genkai combinations. He could only remember that Water and Earth made Wood Style. But even if he fused Wood Style, he felt that without enough Yang Release Chakra, he would merely be another Yamato. It would not be especially useful.

Masahiko glanced at the Attribute Panel again.

Wind and Earth? Mud Release? That was far too unreliable.

Wind and Fire? That seemed more plausible. Wind could fuel fire.

Wind and Lightning? Was there some kind of Swift Release in the plot?

Wind and Water? Ah, that seemed to be Ice Release. It was worth considering.

But after thinking it over repeatedly, Masahiko still gave up on Water Release and chose Fire Release. Thinking of the future, he could still remember that fusing Wind, Earth, and Fire probably created the old Tsuchikage's Dust Release. He had thought that technique looked incredibly cool in his previous life, so now that he had the chance, he had to work toward that goal.

Masahiko gritted his teeth and added 37 Witness Points to Fire Release in one go.

"More importantly..." Masahiko formed hand seals with both hands. "Scorch Release—Steaming Murder!"

Even Masahiko felt a chill as he looked at his fireballs.

"A technique that can instantly evaporate the water inside a human body? It's too dangerous. I'd better use it sparingly."

Over the next half hour, Masahiko thoroughly tested his newly acquired Kekkei Genkai, and the results satisfied him greatly.

It was a jutsu capable of both attack and defense. With several Small Fireballs orbiting around him, it worked extremely smoothly in conjunction with taijutsu.

After the test, Masahiko undid the Scorch Release fusion, and a sudden idea came to him.

He had just fused Wind into Fire. What would happen if he fused Fire into Wind instead?

Masahiko thought for a long while before finding something related to Dark Release in a corner of his memories.

Dark Release had only appeared in the Naruto Movie, The Will of Fire, and had been used by the villain Hiruko, causing Naruto considerable trouble.

As he remembered, Dark Release could absorb jutsu and release blue flames. If not for its absorption limit, it would be even stronger than the Preta Path ability of the Rinnegan.

"How do I use this..." Masahiko thought for a moment. Fortunately, this was a Kekkei Genkai fused through the system, so some methods of using it had been transmitted into his mind. Otherwise, he would have had to wait an unknown amount of time before finding Hiruko to ask him...

Masahiko formed hand seals with both hands. After more than fifty seals, two talismans appeared on his palms.

Masahiko smiled in satisfaction. The Shadow Clone formed seals again. "Fire Release—Great Fireball Technique!"

"Dark Release—Suction Hole!" The talismans on both palms erupted with powerful suction, completely absorbing the Great Fireball.

Masahiko extended both hands. "Dark Release—Evil Self-Destruction!" The two jutsu he had just absorbed transformed into pale blue flames and shot toward the Shadow Clone.

"Earth Release—Earth Flow Wall!" The Shadow Clone defended quickly, but the flames instantly pierced through the earthen wall and struck it.

Masahiko nodded. "Not bad power." Then the corner of his mouth twitched. The Shadow Clone's memories returned to his original body, and he had hurt himself...

With one round of point allocation, he had gained two Kekkei Genkai. Masahiko was extremely satisfied with this harvest. Both Scorch Release and Dark Release greatly enhanced his offensive abilities.
